  1. I thought about Zeus, but he is sort of a grey area, I mean he worked Abdullah in Puerto Rico, almost more of a wrestler then an actor. I think I forgot Young Rock existed
  2. Back in GQ! Talking about the best actors in Wrestling Movies/TV based on their wrestling ability https://www.gq.com/story/nine-actors-whove-played-pro-wrestlers-ranked-by-acting-and-wrestling-ability
  3. I am back on the Ringer this week with a history of WCCW! https://www.theringer.com/wwe/2023/12/19/24007240/world-class-championship-wrestling-history-von-erich-family-dallas-texas
  4. It really gets cooking when Fujiwara gets there
  5. Pretty sure Wahoo McDaniel had more then just two great strap matches
  6. I went on the Ringer Masked Man Show to talk Terry https://t.co/2PDo0MBMGI
  7. As someone who put the DVDVR New Japan set together, there was plenty of Inoki stinkers, we just didn't put them on the set. If he was working someone below him in the hierarchy, he would take a bunch of their stuff, shrug it off, hit an enzigiri and pin them. Big match Inoki rules, but I have to go Hash here, I have his bandana hanging in my closet, I just can't be impartial
  8. I reviewed all of the FU-TEN here http://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2020/09/complete-and-accurate-battlarts-and.html
  9. I am pretty sure we only have that one Mendoza match on tape, and he is pretty old and also awesome. V3 is an all-timer of a wrestler, but Mendoza had a pretty titanic rep, so not sure we can say that. Also, even though I am a legendary Dustin fan, I would have a hard time definitively putting him ahead of Dusty.
  10. He is a guy who should be in trios matches, not sure why they are doing so many singles matches with him
  11. I am guessing he taped this weeks ROH before Dynamite because it was right after the PPV, I would assume they are going back to Universal soon
  12. Got a chance to interview Eddie Kingston for the Ringer. https://www.theringer.com/2023/4/1/23666008/eddie-kingston-roh-supercard-of-honor-claudio-castagnoli-feud-interview
  13. Danielson had an excellent 60 minute match with Hangman. Page, and MJF is way smarter in ring guy then Page
  14. I went on the Masked Man show to do a Wrestling Trade Deadline pod, maybe the most fun I have ever had doing a pod https://t.co/qR6XvG1oRl
  15. Hell, yeah 22 years late, but awesome you are beating the 01 Low-KI drum
  16. The Ringer did a piece on 5 hidden gem Jay Briscoe matches https://www.theringer.com/2023/1/21/23564815/slug-jay-briscoe-the-briscoes-ring-of-honor-five-lesser-known-pro-wrestling-matches
  17. The Acclaimed are maybe the hottest act in AEW
  18. I wrote up Muta vs. Nakamura for the Ringer, don't think it was really a MOTYC or anything, but I really dug it
  19. Mine just dropped over at The Ringer https://www.theringer.com/2022/12/28/23529263/best-pro-wrestling-matches-2022 Want to see other folks lists, thoughts on what I had too high and too low etc.
  20. Pentagon match was awesome too, really one of the greatest retirement tours in wrestling history. Also shouldn't Villano V have a thread too?
  21. I have seen LA Park live twice in the last couple of months at local Denver Lucha show, he comes off as a huge star in that local show atmosphere, just so awesome to watch him do his random house show match with ref shtick and belt shots. He has the huge main event matches, but also is amazing in a small room
  22. Danielson really broke out at the Super 8 and King of the Indies. He won a BOLA too
  23. In preparation for Final Battle I wrote up some of the greatest Dog Collar matches of all time for The Ringer https://www.theringer.com/2022/12/10/23502948/best-dog-collar-matches-in-pro-wrestling-history
