It's kind of different. The government sometimes has to do shitty things because they have to. The WWE didn't have to. I already was done with WWE when Vince donated six million to a billionaire as former talent does Gofundme's for surgeries. I try not to support the company directly if it does not benefit a talent somehow. LIke I will get a Braun shirt, because I know it will get some money to him. Just as an example. That they help a shitty government is not a surprise.

Exactly. Roman is one victory away from being the ace again. Defeating Brock and going on a tear for the rest of the year will be enough to undo all the "damage" that's already been done (and I use the word "damage" loosely and have it in quotes for a reason). Whether that actually happens is another story. They seem to be positioning Braun as the new "guy" now. We'll see if that sticks. People already forget that of all of Brock's major opponents, Braun had the worst matches with him. With that said, I still support the idea of WWE shifting its "ace" resources to Braun - I'm just doubtful it will actually happen. As I said in another thread, everyone seems to think Brock vs. Lashley is inevitable for SummerSlam and/or Lashley is the one who will take the title off Brock. Maybe it'll happen, but nothing so far seems to indicate that. Lashley barely made a dent in the GRR and was instantly "just another guy" the minute he made his underwhelming return. They kinda did that last year, except they didn't bother to fully turn either guy. That ended up being a big problem. They botched the Braun turn somewhat. But Braun has proven to be somewhat bullet proof to booking. I have supported Braun since he debuted. He has been the top face for over a year, whether WWE wanted it or not. I think we can safely say, people like Roman in a group. His most over periods since Shield 1.0 was the brief time he was with Ambrose and the Usos and during the snake bit Shield reunion. Roman's greatest obstacle is going to be apathy. Without Braun and Joe, people don't care if he is against someone else.

WWE is an American company. The American government has no issue working with Saudi Arabia. Despite of various short comings and them likely funding 9/11. If their (I realize not everyone here is American) have no issue, why would WWE?

Let's pin this. The Roman Reigns experiment has been the longest booking debacle of modern pro-wrestling. It could only happen because of the state of the business too, with another strong company in the US, there's no way this kind of industrial accident would occur, he would have either jumped or be turned heel a long, long time ago. There was a segment with Eddy Guerrero singing in a bar in 02, Mick Foley noted would have been edited if Nitro were on another channel.

Brock is the guy. They still have the heel turn in their back pocket. If they turn Reigns heel and nobody cares, then you have a problem. Doing a double turn with Braun would have been ideal. But that ship has sailed.

I like with Heenan is he loses his temper and attacks Patera then this realization he has taken things too far. -
Thanks I am giving you one of my favorite matches of all time. Matt says I take leaps of faith on things. I saw a picture of this in PWI and wanted to see it. Dan Severn vs Tarzan Goto

Why did they not do a Taker/Cena casket match here? You could have Cena do promos saying he was not even sure if Taker was showing up. Taker says he will give Cena a last chance on his terms.

This is the best PPV aired on a Friday afternoon of all time.

I like how the second after I read this, I saw a guy with a "too sweet" sign. They just saw the nWo last month.

He is like 2002 opinions the person. -
It was uploaded that way. They put in audio from an Jerry Lawler Show episode. which made it funnier. In any event, I am not going to any country where there is a laundry list of things I can't do.

We could have used one of those at Mania.

It had been said he was losing it at the SNME show any way. Losing the ECW title was just silly. Because we would not to hurt the image of a company represented by the Sandman. -
Whenever Dawho is ready, I will have something cooked up.

I'll do it. I need something to break out of this funk.

On the Jerry Lawler podcast, they had to remove most of the interview with Jim Cornette, because they read a list of things he could not do in Saudi Arabia. Hearing the flight schedule alone and I think the girls are lucky to not be going.

Maybe he is on the WWE payroll. Which sounds silly, but McDonalds still pays people to attack that old lady they gave third degree burns to. Calling the Twitter mob "Cyber Bullying" sounds like a WWE thing. Or he is a random weirdo who loves Moolah. Her work has been mentioned here. I think Moolah was good at a very stale dated style. But her being the primary trainer in the country set women's wrestling back decades. Without Japan, women would have never caught up.

I think RVD was a great promo in ECW when playing off of Sabu. WWE rarely gave him a chance to do that sort of thing. After 2001 they tried to force him in a box and he could not excel. Which whether you like him or not, he was very successful. -
This is a bit late I suppose, but who is Nigel? He posted one of the interviews with the other old lady? I think they end up canceling each other out. At least for people who do not know the family. I do think it is very ulikely the son never heard of it in some form. At least with the families I know, secrets are few and far between. The stuff with the daughter is very damning. Was it ever reported how it was resolved? I think that is a frustrating thing even now. You gets news stories and the resolution gets buried.

How is Dave's Twitter persona suppose to help get subscribers? I unfollowed him months ago and am very unlikely to read the Observer again. I don't think its really this new persona. I think he says that to justify being a dickhead.

Its remarkable they managed to kill four careers in one swipe. Dolph is a survivor. You know Cornette was gone by then, or he would have hit Titan Tower with a tactical nuke. Jeter is sad because he was really trying to get the Spirit Squad over. They were all trying, but he was going all out to give himself a personality. The Heyman booked shows are very interesting and good in their own way. It feels like Heyman being brought into book SMW in 95 but trying to stay true to both his and Corny's vision. When reviewing NXT (which he usually praises) he talks about all the restrictions he was given by WWE. Then ponders being given free reign and the ability to spend millions. Though NXT in some ways shows WWE was right to hide OVW from a more mainstream audience. As you see people locked into gimmicks early on and no effort is made to reintroduce them to the main roster. I think of guys who have been called up who have done well. Elias has thrived because no one has preconceptions of him good or bad,
