  1. Didn't Maria get groped a couple years ago at some live event? I remember reading about it and how shook up she was. I don't blame them either. Especially after going to FCW events and seeing how some of the fans treat AJ Lee.
  2. I loved the Lawler/Jake feud. Especially when Jake no showed a USWA match cause he got drunk at the airport and missed his flight. Austin/Jake have good chemistry.
  3. I agree that Hogan is great here. Loved the stuff with him and Liz: "You want Brad Pitt or Kevin Costner? You got it."
  4. I thought the opposite of Loss and think this was Toyota's worse match on the set so far. She just looked off here while Shimoda and other girls were pretty great holding this match together. Mima's heel schtick was pretty awesome and Yoshida/Ito did some nice teamwork. The Table spots were just nasty.
  5. I'll be honest, this is probably my favorite All Japan match on the set so far. Mostly cause it's different from the rest and the guys really shined. Especially Taue and Kawada being total dicks to Asako. I've never even heard of Asako before but he was pretty good here as a poor man's Hoshino. Fun match.
  6. I've never seen Takayama before his illness. This was alright but the subdued crowd and the constant rope breaks kinda hurt it. I"m guessing there are different rules between RINGS and UWFI right? And what's the difference between UWF and UWFI?
  7. This really reminds me of Cody attacking Rey a couple weeks ago on Smackdown except Dean didn't smash Rey into the titantron. Good angle.
  8. Well it's not the same thing but they did the HHH angle on Raw where he was attacked by Sheamus and sat out for close to a year.
  9. Yeah the post match stuff is included which is the best part of this. The match was ok with Awesome looking well awesome. I'm still amazed at his agility for a guy his size. However, these announcers are awful. They are like the ones that cover Ultimo Dragon's shows in Mexico that just laugh at everything.
  10. So far this is my favorite Han match. He looked great on the match and the spot where he just slaps Tamura is awesome. I don't think I've seen much Tamura but he sure was energetic in this. Very good match.
  11. I tried watching this twice but couldn't get into it. Yamazaki and Chono were good but Tenzan just bored me.
  12. They like the guy because he's dropped about 50-75 pounds since being in developmental unlike a guy like Husky Harris.
  13. I don't know if it was the week before or the week after where Bert basically gave Eddie a lapdance to Achey Breaky Heart. Eddie quit shortly after this.
  14. I always get a laugh out of HBK seeming to lose his temper at least once in big matches. It happened here when I guess Mankind didn't run at him so Shawn power walks to the corner with the biggest "What the fuck" look on his face. As for the match, It was great for all the reasons already mentioned.
  15. I'm pretty sure Mistico did it one time. Fray Tormeta too. It's pretty sad that it seemed that Sunny/Sable was more over than the match. Why did Mero go back with Perfect after Perfect turned on him early in the year?
  16. Vince said Jarrett's last appearance was after losing to HBK but wasn't Jarrett in WWF in 96 too? And Jarrett in USWA 1996> WCW Jarrett anyday of the week.
  17. Yeah I couldn't get into this. Hayabusa did a few nice moves and the finish was good. Who was that at the end confronting Hayabusa. Looked like Hakushi.
  18. So was Sting injured or was this the time he took off to fix his marriage? Bischoff was funny with his "why isn't he looking at the camera?" mentions.
  19. Meanie looked like the world's worst John Wayne Gacy impersonator. Bizarre definitely fits this.
  20. Wasn't it Randy Anderson that called for the bell? And I thought the excuse was he didn't tap but he passed out? As for the match, on one hand I really like it. The Horsemen and Hogan are really great in this. So far, this is the best Hogan has looked on the set. On the other hand, I really hate how the announcer push that it's really Sting after he gets in the cage. You can tell by the close up that it's a fake sting. Was the 4th man supposed to be Waltman?
  21. When did Austin drop the Ringmaster music for the glass breaking? Was that around the Survivor series?
  22. I didn't realize they were still selling Pillman shirt after he was in WWF?
  23. I don't know if Will edited this or what but what was up with Luger outside in the pouring rain one second and then immediately they go to a interview with the Horsemen and Luger is not even wet? Other than that, this was awesome. I was in shock when I saw this as a 11 year old.
  24. Takada's knees were right up there with the Rutten match in greatness. I don't remember ever seeing Tenryu bleed that much. He looked might pissed when that happened. Great stuff.
  25. The last 5 minutes of this was great. Bas slapping the shit out of Funaki ruled. I could live without the constant dry humping on the mat though. That was Fast forward material.
