Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they are keeping Shawn around (who would be the most obvious guy to cut if you want to remove all traces of HHH) just because Vince is afraid he would show up in AEW. That might sound crazy but remember Shawn spent the whole Attitude Era threatening to quit and go to WCW to make sure he got his way so that's probably where Vince's brain is at.

I would be down for a weekly "Bryan Danielson wrestles someone released by NXT for no reason" challenge. Even the writers/creative people, since you know even those would be good.

Funny thing about the Shibata deal, is despite him saying that it was still very much an exhibition style match and it seemed like it was just done to get the audience used to seeing him in a regular match again. Any time an announcer says "is X going in to business for himself" as many times as Kevin and Chris did, then that person is very much not doing that.

Seems pretty harsh to paint this as Swole lying about her departure when "we agreed to mutually part" is the common reasoning for pretty much every departure in real sports other than Antonio Brown even when that's not the case probably (at least) 90% of the time.
