I think it speaks volumes that a lot of the people I saw falling for it were also tagging Cornette all "LOOK YOU WERE RIGHT, JELLY NUTELLA IS QANON!"

Janela dressed up as a stereotypical "Florida Man" and trolled the school board meeting Drake Wuertz and pals are always at, and a lot of places reported it as him being actually q-pilled.

Except for the famous "BUT WHO'S SIDE IS HE ON?" from Bobby Heenan when Hogan came out, which was 100% in character for a guy who literally had most of his career based around feuding with Hulk so of course *he* would be the one person to let the paranoia seep through.

Vince loves when people stand up to him and/or tell him to GTFO, but creates a culture in his company where everyone's afraid to do so.

He's like a wrestling version of "you'll never be Denzel, but you could be Denzel's friend". Dude was great as someone's sidekick, on his own not so much.

People cared about John Morrison in Impact, LU, and AAA. If we're talking strictly in WWE maybe, but lets not pretend he wasn't a star in other companies.

Indeed, WWE wants their fans to just shut up and take what they are being fed, while at the same time not having any motivation to improve their product because they are financially set. It really was an amazing display of projection as grumpy Hunter at the press conference was every bit as negative and entitled as the fans they blame for their problems. "Watch it or don't" should be chiseled on his tombstone.

You know a story is fucked up when Vince Russo comes off as the voice of reason. Broken clock being right twice a day and all, but he clearly liked her and it clearly hurt him to see her downfall.

I think the last few years of NXT have kind of killed the "HHH will save wrestling" dynamic. It is interesting how putting someone as dynamic and versatile as Nikki in a one note, potentially career damaging gimmick (even if it was her idea) is bringing out the WWE defenders though. As if when a talent brings an idea to Vince he has no choice but to put it on TV. It's also key to remember that the Hurricane/Mighty Molly gimmicks this is clearly based on were actually "normal person is deluded into thinking they are actually super heroes" like when Hurricane would try to chokeslam someone twice his size. The joke was that they were clearly not who they thought they were, but Shane and Molly were so darn likeable you went along with it anyway. Plus it helped the Rock put the Hurricane over to give him a bit of credibility. Nikki clearly has the goofy charm to make this work, but I doubt WWE is going to make the effort needed to really make it work. If that makes me a "hurr durr Fed Bad" person, then so be it.

We talk about Tony needing to tell the talent no once in a while, only fair we apply the same standards here. Also I'm not 100% sure I believe it when WWE talent says a bad idea was theirs (I know it's her husband saying it but it still applies) since taking a bullet for the company is a common thread amongst WWE folks.
