MJF vs Mistico is such classic lucha booking, top star vs gringo heel. Should get great heat in Arena Mexico.

the WWE 2K games have been very good the last couple years, and the amount of community created content is amazing. You can find just about every wrestler, title, and arena you can think of there (eventually, the search feature there still kinda blows). If you want you can have matches in Arena Mexico or circa 1988 JCP. You can book the IWGP title or make yourself the AAA mega champ. It's like the world's greatest pro wrestling sim.

Roku is one of the top FAST (free ad supported) streaming service, not in small part due to how it's preinstalled on nearly every TV sold at Walmart. It's not a billion dollar streaming deal, but they actually have some shows people watch.

Also Scott's son just signed a NIL deal with WWE, so we're one step closer to having Steiners 2.0

Finn as the guy starting shit and then grinning like Trollface is possibly the most Irish thing ever seen on WWE TV

I love how evil heel John Cena who's out to destroy wrestling forever, still coordinates his gear to the colors of the local sports team in every city.

So watching SRS's "was this a work?" video it seems like Hunter was given a directive to eliminate X amount of salary and made the decision to let Truth, Carlito, and Valhalla's deals end without renewal. I can't imagine he had no idea how beloved he was in the locker room, and when the fan backlash started it seems like the choice to bring him back was made above his pay grade. His whole "well did you enjoy the show?" really comes off as him trying to save face in light of it all blowing up on him.

Per Bryan Alvarez, Truth's deal legit ended on June 1 but after the "we want Truth" chants were on every TV show afterwards it was decided to bring him back. Especially after Cena cut the "you can't handle the truth" promo at the end of Smackdown in response to the chants. In the post show press conference Hunter is trying to spin it like it was all part of the show the whole time instead of them realizing they made a mistake letting him go.

It looked fuller the later they got in the show, LA crowds are famously late arriving due to it taking 2 hours to get anywhere due to traffic.

Cody/Jey win, get laid out afterwards due to some fuckery, and Seth does the immediate cash in?

Jacob is the best, I HATE YOU SOLO!

She's missing something for sure. In ring I've never seen her have a bad match but outside that she's just bland.

Funny thing, Haley J wrestles in WOW as Holly Swag. She was in a tag team with her mom as the "Mother Truckers" doing truck driver gimmicks until she turned heel on her mom and joined up with the top heel group basically doing the Hollyhood Haley J gimmick

Somewhere brother @KawadaSmile is celebrating the return of Tay Melo.

Mariah May finally showed up on NXT, after Ricky I can't wait or them to rename her Mariah Patriots or Mariah Bengals

To go back to what @The Thread Killer said about the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing, her husband just said in an interview not too long ago that she would be back on TV soon. He was seldom if ever put in the position to have classic matches though. What he did do was perform his role better than pretty much anyone else in WWE history. He wasn't a six star classic guy, but he had a connection with the audience not everyone has.
-
Can't imagine this is going over well in the locker room since R Truth is one of the most beloved guys possibly ever. He's in that rare category where you can't find anyone who has a bad thing to say about him.

The funny thing is Je'Von is a much better fit in AEW than he is in WWE, so burning that bridge for no reason was an extra dumb move.
-
That wasn't even the most brutal match on the show, considering both Anna Jay and Harley got their faces busted up in that hardcore tag.

Toni cracking herself with the "ride the Mone` Train into the Toni Tunnel" like got a pop from me

I've also seen people thinking the TNA president looking grumpy after Trick won the title was some sort of "shoot", but I suppose to be fair if there's one company that wouldn't smarten up their execs it *would* be TNA.
-
I just saw it as Jesse being the same heel commentator he's always been, I guess its been so long since there's been one that isn't fake sounding as hell people aren't used to it.

Fightful has said on several occasions when asked about Alberto going back to WWE that pretty much across the board no one in the company wanted him back.
-
So on Raw they billed Vikingo vs Chad Gable on Worlds Collide as being for the AAA Mega Championship. One problem, Alberto's still the champ but he has match with Vikingo on AAA's next taping on 5/31. Not the best start for WWEAAA spoiling upcoming results.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but TNA put their last show up for free since apparently they turned a lot of folks away at the building. I don't expect it to last, but for the moment at least they seem to be getting a bounce out of this.
