Which women on the roster should be headlining anyway? Sasha and Lynch had a good match on their developmental show. So now they should be carrying main event programs?
-
Because it's too much work. There's dozens more immediate problems they should be focusing on before the women.

I like them both but Warrior was the man growing up. Even the youngsters in my family today are spellbound when they see him. Coolest super hero in wrestling.

After watching the Yamada match mentioned above it got me thinking if Toyota is someone that's been overrated long enough to reappear from the hole as underrated. I loved her performance in the 11/91 match with Hokuto, their JGP match was great up until Hokuto fucked her leg, vs Hotta may be the best singles match of her career (unfortunately don't have a date. Featured on the 'legend of goddess' tape), not to mention the well regarded matches with Kong and the interpromotional tags. She's someone i'll think about.

Due several more additions once I've viewed more lucha, classic New Japan etc. I'll be the low voter on the 90s all Japan guys. Don't really care for them apart from Kawada. Ric Flair Stan Hansen Terry Funk Jumbo Tsuruta Akira Hokuto Buddy Rose Tatsumi Fujinami Jerry Lawler Vader Jim Breaks Chigusa Nagayo Toshiaki Kawada Barry Windham Jaguar Yokota Arn Anderson Ricky Morton Daniel Bryan

Yeah, what was up with that? Are moves called like that on NXT? It struck me as them filtering the commentary through HHH and/or them playing around with announcing ideas.

Disgusting things said or done by wrestling fans
Badlittlekitten replied to MoS's topic in Pro Wrestling
Can somebody tell me who the hell Green Lantern fan is and list a run down of his juicy disgustiness? I don't remember ever hearing 'what's during an national anthem but that sounds hilarious. -

Flair's podcast (WOOOOONation)
Badlittlekitten replied to JerryvonKramer's topic in Publications and Podcasts
I'm a Dan Carlin guy so I'll be tied up today. Who's Flair's guest? -
By sound of the pop for the kickout, Montreal bought it.

Transcendent.

Who has the trifecta as a HOF candidate?
Badlittlekitten replied to JerryvonKramer's topic in Pro Wrestling
Don't be daft. He's a melon but really not worth quitting for. There is an ignore function btw. Saved me from seeing strummer. -
This thread my be of some help. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/15446-joshi-for-people-who-dont-like-joshi/?hl=%2Bjoshi+%2Bfor+%2Bpeople Akira Hokuto fucking rules.

How old is the average raw viewer then? Sounds about right to me.

Will get a vote from me. For delivering good matches week in week out I think he's got the likes of Matt Hardy and Christian beat at this point. And for all the criticism he got as a character I never found him as boring and vapid as them two. In fact I've quite a soft spot for his daft "flush bullies heads down de bog" babyface character. He fantastic current heel work puts him over the edge.

Bad Gimmick Made Good/That You Enjoyed

The platform might have been wider but the appeal in the match for me was how high it was. Seriously, that looked almost twice as high as your usual scaffold. The teases genuinely made my stomach churn and added true drama. Chicky made good use of heat and pacing early on and Invaders dropkick was a great, well built spot. I loved Starr's wobbly splats into the platform floor. Not as good as Dundee/Koko and probably not one of the best PR matches I've seen (I'm not exactly a connoisseur) but I'm glad I took the time to watch it.
-
Fucking hell Parv, spoiler your posts bro. 😁
-
He's somebody I need to watch again because in real time during his WWE run he felt like a charisma-less bow legged goon.
-
Yes! Nice one Tim.😊

One for the Memphis heads. Is Jerry Lawlers fabulous tune 'Bad News' online at all? Been dying to hear it but can't seem to find it on YouTube.
-
I love him as a promo but but . . . Bockwinkel/Robinson is the only Bock match I truly love. And that's largely cos of Billy.

All time great on the mat and with holds. One of the best bomb throwers of his day. Love his temperamental, fired up, over excited act. Tough guy reputation is a bonus with me (sorry) and as silly as it sounds there's always the odd moment where it looks like he is/might start shooting on a guy which gives his matches an edge. The tension between him and Terry Funk in that tag is electric. The 2/3 falls match with Abby soured me on him a tiny bit. Yes, he sold the leg well and ended up losing via stoppage, but he gave the Butcher fuck all in that match. I know he took a beating in the brawl they had but this was still irritating. I like his 'blocking' of strikes though. 40-75 guy.
