  1. Like Pain & Gain?
  2. Doesn't help when they just cut to the advertisements at random times too during the podcast. Probably more of a network thing than what the host & producer wants the format to be.
  3. Yeah, Jannetty's response is very weird. Its a reference that gets trotted out every so often (though sometimes incorrectly with the superkick being the move that drove Jannetty through the window), plus they mentioned Evolution kicking Randy Orton out, and Seth Rollins turning on The Shield, so it wasn't meant as burying someone. If anything, maybe in a weird way he wants to have the same treatment as any ex-WWF/E employee when it comes to "NEVER BE MENTIONED AGAIN" or who knows.
  4. A bit tacky to kayfabe Bo Dallas putting down some tracks when in reality he's home due to his family member's hospitalization?
  5. Not to mention sometimes doing it with a youngster napping near by! And obviously on the night before the start of a scholastic work week. Never mind talking about something that is wearing him down on a seemingly monthly basis with how bad the overall product has gotten, I'd imagine he'd rather trade podcasts with you at this point! =
  6. Steen-Styles happened a handful of times, mostly in PWG and only three times in a straight up singles match. http://www.profightdb.com/wrestler_search/kevin-owens-1862.html?opp=752 Oddly enough, the way Owens taunted AJ after the elimination, I thought there was more of a connection, especially in ROH, beyond the Owens character being his usual dick troll self.

    WWE vs Lana

    Savage-Steph? (ducks)
  8. I can only hear Bix from one channel, and everyone else on the other.
  9. Yeah, it seemed like way too much over compensating for the Axel bit last year. Hell even Sheamus got in after getting the Axel treatment on the ramp! Which is funny because a participant getting jumped, incapacitated or MIA before entering has happened often through the years. I guess because of all the insanity with social media blowing up and the bad taste overall that last year's Rumble had, they had to make it into an actual thing.
  10. Maggle and JBL already said Triple H is main eventing WrestleMania. So? There have been a handful of times that they've booked the Rumble winner to not end up in the Main Event of WrestleMania. Either not in the match at all (Austin '97 and Vince) or in the last spot of the night (Del Rio, Edge, Sheamus), but it has happened.
  11. It appears all that silly stuff ended around the time Hogan switched back to yellow & red and they were trying to work with the Horsemen and Luger.
  12. Hope you guys do get into a good groove of release schedule this year. Not meaning to stir anything, but SuperBrawls (hosted by two Brits, what is it with WCW and UK podcasters? ) posted Starrcade '90 and moving swiftly
  13. Despite possessing a White Castle of Fear and seemingly being a template for the DOD with his feud with Sting in 92-93, no. In fact, they set up a face turn where Vader would be on Hogan's team at Fall Brawl (even saved Hogan in the "Dungeon" set at the Clash before Fall Brawl) but Vader's fight with Orndorff changed all that.
  14. I think its the unprofessional and pure douchebag piece of shit aspect that people are responding to. Its pretty much a more shit bag like version of Jericho's crumpling up a script and throwing it out while the writer watches story (which Jericho has said happened). And as far as people can tell, Paul Levesque has never been seen to be such an overt unprofessional, even in private. Sure it may be true that he looked at his match's finish and then bitched to get it changed, but to have an unprofessional outburst like that in front of the new writer does smack of something that would be out of character for him, or him ribbing the new writer.
  15. Looks like Vader is the first inductee to be revealed...well Leon White is displaying a HOF image on his Twitter account anyway!
  16. Great, now I'm picturing Jay Strongbow as the Fredo in that Bruno/Corleone bit from way back. Never go against the family... Strongbow....I knew it was you! You broke my heart!
  17. They should push Miz to the moon again then. They should. Miz is the kind of guy everyone will shit on but won't get I-don't care-go away heat like Sheamus. Are you sure about that? He got TONS of that kind of "go away" heat during his MITB/Title/Main Event run and not much has changed in terms of audience reaction to him, even during his failed face run.
  18. I hope I'm not the only one that really wants a podcast of J. Arsenio D'Amato and Johnny Sorrow just talking wrestling, recreational drugs, music, and...ummm...fine women =
  19. I'd imagine that they were going for a recreation of WM 1's hype vibe, though I'd imagine Piper, Orndorff and Orton did not join the stage that night with Hogan and T. Oddly enough, this was pre-Mummy Returns (does anyone remember when, or if, he took time off for filming his scenes in that movie?). I wonder if its here, on the SNL stage, more so than his one-offs on The Net and That 70's Show, that got the ball rolling in terms of Dwayne Johnson thinking acting would be a more viable profession in the long run. Or if it really was his role in The Mummy Returns and later The Scorpion King that got the ball rolling on his moving towards acting.

  22. LOL! Okay, he has had Luger, Sting, Tully, JJ and now Mongo on. Clearly Hennig, Pillman, Benoit, Woman and Elizabeth, can't ever be on. Rift with Ole would prevent him from being on, I doubt Roma would be in a position to come on for much of the same reasons, and I'd assume Debra is also on the outs with those in the sport's circles as well. Likewise, I wonder if Jarrett is kind of a pariah for these shows despite still having relationships with TNA and whatever relationships he's cultivated with GFW. I assume a freeze on WWE employees being on independent podcasts without any sort of pre-existing arrangement (Austin and Y2J having video versions of their casts on The Network) is preventing Malenko and Arn to appear. So I guess that leaves Barry Windham and Sid as the only Horsemen left that can realistically appear on Flair's show?
  23. Coke and roids not doing him any favors in his 70s.
  24. An odd bump, but I been recently reminded of something I think all podcasters, or really anyone who expects to have audience participation as part of their thing (be it blog, vidcast, call in radio program, etc) should think about. And that is have the ability to reign in your feedbackers when it seems they are trying to get themselves over a bit too much for their own good, as well as the good of the show. Perfect example is a rewatch show that just does feedback off of a "okay, we're recording now" tweet, and since they really don't seem to know the first thing of feedback control, will read just about anything that amuses them. Its fine at first, but now its become almost drinking game level proportions of EVERY SINGLE DAMN TIME with jokes intended for the hosts to guffaw at. Even if it has literally nothing to do with the content of the shows they've watched that week. I.e. a fan loves to rip on Lex Luger because he shares the same animosity towards Luger that the host does, will make a wise crack at Luger's expense, even if Luger had nothing much to do that given period that they covered for the episode. There is another one that for some reason keeps making wise cracks about Don West, granted West may have been awful, but why the need to constantly make jokes when he has nothing to do with the products. You see the point. Its one thing to cultivate a community, but make sure they know there are limits of what they can and can't do when it comes to getting their feedback on the air. Find something consistent, and have your feedbackers stay on that target and make sure they don't put themselves over, at least too much anyway that it takes away from what you are discussing that episode (i.e. there is no need to say "would Don West have made that match more, or less boring" or "I want to (insert odd form of torture) Eric Bischoff/Lex Luger/Buff Bagwell, do you feel the same way" for the 34th consecutive time in your feedback to the show). Anyway, just been reminded that all that is important if you are trying to build an audience, sometimes the amount spent on feedback on the actual show can affect someone's enjoyment of the episode as a whole.

    TLC 2015

I wonder if there is any connection with the new "watch from the beginning/watch now/SAP" option list? IDK, grasping at straws!
