  1. I felt that had ECW continued on RVD would have beaten Rhyno for the ECW World Title. I agree with what Bubba said, ECW heavily influenced the Attitude era.
  2. Normally I'd scoff at the notion of anyone from WWE watching anything on PBS, but the format does seem too similar to be coincidental. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I saw the previews on youtube via WWE's channel and it got my interest was really looking forward to it. I felt 48 minutes was far too short, at least 1 hour should have been the runtime but yeah I would have been happy had it gotten 2 hours, I loved hearing the stories about Taz designing the shirts and Bubba doing Business deals. I felt they should have gotten Raven on the panel too. I didnt like the Brock Lesnar mention, it felt out of place which I felt the same way when they did ECW Exposed as well.
  3. Whatever happened to Season 2 of Camp WWE? Supposedly Ultimate Warrior did some voiceover stuff before he passed away.
  4. Im guessing Sid possibly would have dropped the belt to Flair at Superbrawl 4. I dont know how true this is as was listing to a Superbrawl 4 Review show and the host claimed that Flair was supposed to drop the title to Vader at Superbrawl 4 but Ric got booking power the same day and thus changed the finish. If it is true then possibly they could have gone with Flair beating Sid in February.
  5. I used to watch it at my Granmothers house on a Saturday afternoon each week. It was great wrestling before I got into the American stuff but I do remember the odd show when Hogan faced Savage in a Lumberjack match. I know years later TWC aired alot of it but I do remember a few years ago a channel Men & Movies aired it too but was wondering did Men & Movies just show all the stuff TWC aired or did they show more stuff?
  6. Yeah I love watching the post show Raw bits from 1998 and I know they did a load for 1999 as well but did they do any other years? I cant recall them doing any Smackdown related segments. I bought the Raw DVd that had similar bits like Hogan posing with Cena & Batista but what I always found odd with this is why they didnt show the match that took place before the posedown which I believe was Hogan/Batista/Cena vs HBK/HHH/JBL.
  7. Something I always wondered I know most of us heard of those Satellite feeds in the trading community where a feed was taped that showed Dark Matches as unedited broadcast stuff as well as after show segments matches. Now when WWE started with the Network and had pre show stuff and post show stuff why was it just a panel talking instead of the juicy stuff fans wanted to see ie those after show dark matches that tend to happen during every taped Raw or Smackdown show?
  8. Im tempted to pick Psicosis just because I loved their matches in ECW!
  9. If we are talking WWF ill pick 1989 for the following reasons The Mega Powers feud Warrior/Rude trading the IC Title Demolition dominating the Tag Team scene Roddy Piper coming back and fighting Rude in a series of Cage Matches Roberts returning from injury to get even with the Million Dollar man Ronnie garvin as a Referee to screw the heels and having a memorable time slagging Valentine off at Summerslam 89 No Holds Barred The Match The Movie Warrior & Heenan as the final two in the last Survivor series match The first ever WWF UK Tour I could probably list another 20 favourites but Ill leave it at there.
  10. Im just watching the final WWF Superstars before Wrestlemania 7 and Quake gets a pummelling at the hands of Beefcake who isnt named I think unoffically was mariner or Furrface. Why exactly did they scrap this? Seems they put alot of work into this given Quake rarely got beaten this badly and they ve been doing it for 4 weeks. I know they scrapped it but would have thought a payoff would have happened at mania.
  11. I think the only reason WWE would want this is so Brock can get his win back.
  12. So far im up to the first March week of 1991 so The Ultimate Warrior has just ended Brother Love's Career which I loved as a kid as just couldnt stand the slimey Brother Love and Earthquake got another beating at the hands of the masked guy. I know it got abandoned but given how many weeks this happened in a Row they should have done something at Wrestlemania. Then we come to Prime Time Wrestling where they recap the previous week's show where Andre made Heenan walk on grapes, anyone else in the UK remember getting cheesed off with that episode? From memory they bigged up Andre getting Bobby for nearly 2 hours and then Sky Sports decided to cut the final segment so we didnt see it and instead reair the 3 hour Royal Rumble PPV. The air went blue for many hours for them doing this. Dont think I ever saw the footage till a decade later when I found a trader with it, anyhow we are being treated to Valentine/Barbarian & Perfect/Snuka. They were ok and its nice to see matches that wernt from MSG or Boston but we come now to a odd segment Paul Bearer demonstrating a embalming, he has a dummy I was guessing was filled with blood and by the end hes holding something in his hands that resembles a heart, poor Bobby apparently threw up. I cant recall this episode airing in the UK and I guess I can see why it did seem a little strong, anyhow Paul's not done yet as he is having a second attempt at it. After all that we are treated by a mystery guest who is the Big Bossman where heenan gets handcuffed and Bossman bring out a lady I presume is supposed to be his mother who just batters the brain with her handbag for 2 minutes. Never saw this before and it was fully as hell couldnt stop laughing, did they ever show highlights of this on Superstars/Challenge? Man I wish they had!
  13. For me personally I felt he should have got his win back and then they could build up a third and final match between Brock/Hogan on PPV making big money, I didnt really see the point in building Lesnar up for a main Event run only to drop the belt to Big Show 3 months later. I would probably put Hogan in a top 10 Wreslers of all Time, was always a fan of his work and enjoyed his matches when he went to japan and I really cant see anyone as big as him not even Rock or Austin combined. Id make a pretty big valid case on Hulkamania merchandise overselling any Rock or Austin Merch regardless of how many different designs there were, Hogan deffinately ruled the roost in the 1980s & 1990s given it be WWF or WCW quite a feat I dont see anyone beating. For me its a shame Vince didnt see more Longtivity in Hogan and Hulkamania in 1993 especially how he kept trying to create the next Hulk Hogan in Luger & Diesel, Im not sure how a Heel turn in 1993 would have worked in the WWF before a few years later leading to Hogan returning to the red & Yellow but 93 was a sad year for me to see how Vince wanted to shut down Hulkamania, even a decade later those crazy fans went mad for Hogan in Toronto and even the hall of fame and no one will ever come that close to a modern day reaction.
  14. Why was Pat Patterson appreciation night not shown on the WWE network?

  19. How did the selling of Raw after the show do? Im guessing it sold pretty well for them to do Raw Vol 3 unseen stuff. Its probably the one DVD thats interesting as 100 percent will be new unseen stuff. Im a bit suprised they didnt release Owen/Angle yet. But its interesting to what they might have taped during these TV tapings.
  20. Well I wouldnt have put him against Hogan in his first match back. I think in a way that was the problem with Piper using it as a shock tactic to the fans to say look who just turned up. Id probably have used him in a way like Goldberg have squashes on Nitro and save the big matches on PPV. I would have saved Hogan/Warrior for a Starrcade PPV possibly the 1999 edition as then he would have been there a good year. But yeah id of had him wrestling Flair, Bret and others.

  22. Yeah that even had listed a The Nation of Domination vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charlie match. Didnt know these 4 tagged up in the dark matches. Even this one Stone Cold Steve Austin, Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charlie vs. The Rock & The New Age Outlaws suprised me as had no idea Rock was tagging with DX but its great that are finally getting the Kuwait stuff out now.
  23. Just found something a bit exciting, a while ago WWE teased a Undertaker on 5 matches Taker had you didnt know and one was Taker/Savage that they taped. Now on my local wrestling news site I saw WWE is after ideas on what DVD titles should come out in 2017 and one was called Unreleased matches 1986 - 1995 which would be awesome news because that match would fit perfect on that collection. If we did get this titles what other matches from this time frame would you expect to see?

    NXT talk

Something I wanted to ask. Last week Baron Corbin wrestled a guy I didnt recognise but the theme music sounded like a old wwe wrestlers music but I couldnt work out whos. Any ideas?
  25. Sad news. The article I read said she worked for New Japan and TNA. I remember her being brought in TNA to interact with Karen jarrett for the tag match and recall 1 NJPW match was that it post WWE or did she wrestle more?
