  1. Going by that Update when they talked about the Money Inc/Steiners title change back in 1993 one of the pics looked like it had come from a TV Taping they filmed unless its just a still from a random jobber match they inserted in. Id love to see the full Mountie/Bret match included and the HBK/Jannetty title change but not being a TV taping unsure if they filmed it. Would it be realistic to see some Hogan matches included? All the stuff in the news about him a couple years ago and with him slowly being readded to stuff on the network would it be likely we could see the odd Hogan & Sammartino tag match?
  2. So pleased to hear this is official now. http://www.wrestlingdvdnetwork.com/latest-news-wwe-unreleased-dvd-great-balls-of-fire/135063/ Now we know we are getting a 3 disc set of classic matches never seen before from the years 1986 - 1995 what do you reckon we will get? Im presuming Taker/Savage will be one of them given we saw a clip of this a while ago on WWE's official channel. Could have a lot of interesting matches that took place from the Superstars/Challenge TV Tapings.
  3. I've never really been that impressed with Triple H's career once he hit the main event scene.
  4. Has TNA released any of their dark matches on DVD? Reason I ask is I found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpWiYE2DzP4 It even shows the date so im guessing it must have been a extra on one of the DVds but no idea which one.
  5. Wasent there some Houston show that got alot of praise over the Steamboat/Savage rematch?
  6. Is it likely Hulk Hogan will make a appearance at mania? Im sure he will eventually return.
  7. I wasent necessarilly looking for them just what people had as recommendations for good ones.
  8. Regarding Meltzer was it fair that Dave gave Mr. Fuji the Worst manager award 9 times in a row? Seems a little bit against Fuji as im sure there were worst managers at the time 87 - 95.
  9. Just browsing youtube and came across this video that George must have had someone release after he died.
  10. Are there any good shows WWF produced from the 1970s - mid 80s? Im trying to find something that my mum would enjoy and shes only really seen stuff like the PPVs so looking for some help to see what people would rate as good house shows. As we didnt get Sky till 1989 that was the first time we saw the weekly WWF TV so again if there are any good televised shows that might be worth something too.
  11. At the time I was expecting the Disasters to take the belts at the Rumble. Ive probably not seen the match since it originally aired but didn't LOD get dominated in that match pretty badly?
  12. Did Magnum TA & Nikita Koloff ever have a Russian Chain Match?
  13. Regarding Ric Flair why doesnt WWE recognise some of his title changes? The most obvious one seems to be Flair/Steamboat from Spring Stampede 1994 where the title got held up following a double pin. I mean if WWE doesnt recognise a house show title change thats fair enough but the fact the rematch was done on Saturday Night where millions watched Flair regain the belt doesnt make sense. I know ive read for years about Flair being a 25 time World Champion which includes all those unrecognised ones or does WWE just think 16 time has a better ring to it than 17 time Champ?
  14. During the 90s there seemed to be quite a few House Show title changes like HBK winning the IC belt, The 3 Money Inc/Steiners matches, LOD losing the tag belts, to a bunch of Quebecers matches against MOM & Kid & Jannetty. Im suprised by now they arent available on the network. Im presuming WWE must have taped them.
  15. Ive gone with 1990 solely because that decade had Hogan/Warrior at Wrestlemania.
  16. This what I never got with Vince, worrying about Bret not doing the right thing but he seemed to let Shawn get away with murder by not wanting to do stuff. A few shhot interviews from various people touched upon the whole I lost my smile so im not losing to Bret at Mania 13. As to why Vince wanted Shawn to have the belt then when HBK's run in 96 was one of the lowest ratings for a World Champion wasen't it? Personally I would have preferred Ken Shamrock to take the belt from Bret.
  17. No, I mean the timeline between her first WCW stint ('91-'92 Dangerous Alliance) and Alundra Blayze. She claims she was homeless before joining the WWF. They actually addressed that too. JBL: "Vince didn't know that." Whether that's bullshit or not, who knows, but I am inclined to believe that Vince would at least be paranoid enough to think Bischoff would try something. After all, Bischoff/WCW was already being sued anyway. The problem was, she was miscast from the start as a happy-go-lucky babyface. Anyone who saw her in WCW as Madusa (granted, that was probably a small fraction of the WWF audience) could never buy her as the face of the Women's division - I know I couldn't. I wanted the badass Madusa back (even with a new name). There was a lot of that in the WWF at the time - "Made in the USA" Lex Luger never worked for the same reasons. Didn't Lex at the time say the reason he left WWF was because he grew tired of waiting for his World Title run? So if he had won the title either at Summerslam 93 or Mania X then I suppose he wouldn't have turned up at the first Nitro.
  18. I guess it's a much easier point to make today with Charlotte, Sasha, Bailey & Becky having legit great matches. Still surprising indeed. As far as timelie goes, Madusa was still in WWF in the fall of 95. She worked against Bertha Faye on RAW in October but I guess left before Survivor Series, rumour has it she didn't want to work with Aja Kong. And then she showed up on Nitro in December. Yeah I enjoyed this one as well seems like it took ages for it to finally appear but I was suprised they let Madusa go as had always figured she had been the one that didnt want to stay after they wanted Aja Kong winning the belt at Rumble 96. I do feel it was a bad decision on WWE's part to let her go.
  19. I plan on watching it through my rewatch project. Im up to April 1991 so Im not too far away.
  20. Been watching the Legends with JBL on Bruno Sammartino, was a great interview much like the second part of the Booker T one. I really want to see the upcoming Madusa one as it sounds interesting and I want to hear about the name she is going to let the cat out of the bag on.
  21. WWE did a poll on Goldberg recently and I really dont see why fans want another Goldberg/Lesnar Wrestlemania match. I've heard about Brock seeing money in a feud but if Goldberg is wrestling id like it to be against someone he hasen't faced before.
  22. I was browsing youtube last night and came across a fan made documentary on Bruiser Brody. Now when they got to the Manny Fernandez part they showed footage of him doing a top rope knee drop on this masked guy and the guy was just spitting blood out of his mouth like crazy. So thought id google it and seems the masked guy was Invader #3. Wrestlingclassicboard fans debated on whether this was legit or a work as the ref did nothing. Id not seen it before as I dont even remember it on the WWC Superset so no idea if this was new footage or something.
  23. I came across this shoot interview if anyones interested from Hannibals channel. He asked Dave about Owen's death, Screwjob and various other stuff.
  24. I never thought id see a original broadcast in full again, thats awesome. As for the Movies & Men channel airing them, once I knew they were advertised I started to record them, I think I managed 100 disks then I kinda gave up as I noticed they started repeating the same matches, Ive no idea how much different footage them amassed on that channel but Im guessing when I stopped recording they must have had different footage but too many repeated stuff came on so was hard to work out what I had recorded and what I hadent. No idea how long it ran for either.
