I know a little bit of info but not much. I know there is wikipedia that mentions the merger but I found it a little confusing. From what I could make out the groups all merged around March 85 which is when they called NWA or WCW at the time but before then Saturday Night was GCW and obviously I know Worldwide was Mid Atlantic but not sure on what NWA Pro was. But im guessing those 3 feds had different rosters except the champs wrestled for all of them. Ive seen Anderson in GCW and it made sense. Not sure if any other territories were in the same batch as only TV show I can think of is NWA Main Event & Power Hour never started till 89 I know.

Im thinking about doing a WCW rewatch project as ive nearly finished my WWE one and was wondering what the best year would be to start off on. Im sure there is some right NWA experts out there that would be able to give good advice. Might need advice of when the weekly tv aired so I can watch in order.

I was browsing google the other day to see what matches Jerry Lawler had during the WWF invasion and one of the results linked me to a 17 minute video between Perfect vs Lawler from 1993. The quality is excellent it doesnt look like a TV Taping show so must be a Home Video release. Any ideas what Home Video this match was on as I have the USWA Heat series and dont remember it being on any of those.

Its a fantastic clip and nice to see a long match from the Coliseum. Suprised they never aired any highlights of this on USWA TV. Loved how Perfect did his standard heel gimmick working on the leg a great under rated match. Anyone know what Home Video Release this match made it on as the quality is fantastic!

Been watching 1989 recently and just got to highlights of the Savage/Duggan match where Macho wins the crown. Only the ending is shown and I watched all the weeks programming and its just the end of the match. Was there a reason as to why they just shoved this on a update rather than just air the match in full?

Im slowing working my way through the WWE TV & PPVs from the 1980s. I think last time I mentioned it on the board I was around mid 1987 but now after much time Im up to Wrestlemania 5 weekend. Does anyone know when they changed the theme music for Superstars of Wrestling in 89?

Funny how you mentioned this as I was just watching one of my late night ITV wrestling tapes last night. We must be in a different ITV region as here we never got a International version. I do know we got WCW Pro on a late night 1.50am time slot in the early hours of Sunday which seemed to be around Halloween havoc time. Used to watch it each week and that odd cooking program that would air just before the wrestling called get Stuffed. Time they had got to Superbrawl the show time started to change and I think the broadcast was near complete running at 50 mins so couldnt find a late night slot but a Saturday Afternoon instead which was WCW Worldwide. I remember Dustin & Barry tagging up on the first show against DDP & Nash and after a few episodes I did notice the runtime had been cut down to 35 - 40 mins so something was cut out. After a while they seemed to not air it some weeks due to Football but did catch the odd episode on late night but am so glad German channel DSF came along to air WCW on Sky TV. I remember WCW on Sky too hosted by Lance Russel who was the Power Hour show host as it was remembered by me for Sting pinning Flair while El Gigante counted the pin.

What was the deal between Stone Cold & Jeff Jarrett in 1999? Over the years I heard stories in magazines & the Internet about Austin refused to work with the guy several times. Or was it more to do with Stone Cold didn't see him in his league? Seems a shame really considering both guys career's started out in the USWA & they worked together quite a bit.

One thing I do regret is Vince not having more confidence in Randy Savage in 1993/1994 time, Randy could still show he could go in WCW and it's a shame that Randy never got to Main Event Wrestlemania against Shawn Michaels. I loved their feud during the 1992 European tour and felt this was a wasted opportunity, yes I know they established the New Generation but to see Macho helping Shawn would have been good. I remember Yokozuna vs Savage on Raw for the belt and Wrestlemania 10 would have been so much better if we got Savage/Bret at the Main Event.

How much footage did they air from Wrestlemania weekend on the Network? From what ive seen WWE Wrestlemania Kickoff 2hrs WWE Wrestlemania 4hrs WWE Hall of Fame 4hrs WWE Hall of Fame Red Carpet 40 mins WWE Wrestlemania Today Thurs & Fri 4hrs I did see 4 Wrestlemania videos that ranged from 4 - 11 minutes showing the arena before the event started with interviews. Did WWE release anything else or is that it?

A few weeks ago I came across a show hosted by Joey Styles where the camera's went to a WWE lock up and showed various Casket's, the old WWF New Generation flashing lights entrance and some other bits. I can't for the life of me remember what section it was under as I really enjoyed the program and wanted to watch it again.

Could someone please check something on the Network for me. Yesterday morning I went to watch Starrcade 1985, everything was great up to after the Main Event between Rhodes & Flair. Schavoine & Caudle appeared after the match to wrap the show up but I noticed the screen went all pixelated on my Roku during this, however once it went to the highlight package it went back to normal. At first I thought it was the stream so later in the afternoon I went on WWE.Com and checked the same sequence out and it pixelated on my PC aswell, so was wondering if someone could double check for me if its my connection which I doubt or if WWE is at fault. Thank you to anyone in advance who could check for me.

Is Wrestlemania 1 & 2 edited? Reason I ask is the run time for Wrestlemania 1 is stated as 136 mins.

I have read it six times and I still am not sure the meaning of it. 2 decades ago a special WWF program aired called Titans Hot Ticket called Hulk Hogan, A Real American Story. At the end of the show they aired a Hogan music Vid featuring clips. In one of the clips Hogan is walking through the curtain and a kid is sitting in a wheelchair in front of him. Hulk walks up to him and shakes his hand. Im not sure where this clip was from so any help would be appreciated.

ABout 2 decades ago they did a special on TV called Hulk Hogan a Real American Story now from memory when they did a musical tribute at the end I remember as Hogan comes through the curtain there is a disabled kid in a wheelchair which Hogan shakes his hand and wondered which show this was from as didnt recognise the clip.
