  1. Not sure, but one interesting note on Heat is that several episodes were only shown overseas (the ones done on PPV weekends, US viewers got essentially a ppv preview show). I wonder if we'll get those episodes. I remember that. At the time I was annoyed that we didn't get the US version but looking back getting exclusive matches sounds better. Hopefully we will get exclusive footage when they put them up. I remember watching the intro Breakdown 98 and there was a bit Austin gives Vince the Stunner who is flipping Austin and hes got a dark Blue shirt. Stone Cold had a new Shirt design Id not seen before, so checked all the Raw's and he never wore it there but there was one Sunday Night Heat episode I think Sept 13th 1998 that he wore this on and Vince had the dark Blue shirt too so guessing this stuff happened after Heat went off the air and WWE filmed it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBE20vog8GQ Still waiting for WWE to put up attitude Extra for the Raw episode where HBK debuted as Comissioner and screwed Xpac in the title match vs Rock as Austin blasted the entire corporation and DX with Stunners.
  2. Best song ever used is Real American for Hulk Hogan!
  3. Has there been any news on when we might get Sunday Night Heat?
  4. What WWF Magazine had a article on every single Randy Savage attire photos? Was also wondering if there is a list of all the Stone Cold shirts made. I just noticed he wore a exclusive one on Sunday Night Heat back in 98. If you watch the Breakdown intro video you see it there where he Stunners Vince who just middle fingers Austin. This wasen't part of the Heat broadcast so hopefully when the Network does put them up we get exclusive footage.
  5. The way they changed Martel's character after Strike Force and made him to the upper card as a top guy I was suprised they never put the IC title on him. Sure in 92 he was regulary losing by pinfalls but he seemed the more dominant victor in his feud with Santana but after that they didnt really do much with him.
  6. Why won't they just give us Randy Savage vs Undertaker? Its obvious they have the match in good quality due to that clip several years ago but just havent released it. Its not on the Unreleased DVD so why tease us if they don't plan to share it?
  7. I still don't buy the whole Del Rio is innocent in this. Plenty of men play the im innocent rule to make the female look bad so I don't think hes that innocent as people like to claim and Paige is covering for him.
  8. Given that Prichard said in a interview that Hogan was offered a contract in 1998 to come back to WWF how do you reckon it would have gone? I know Warrior was too but guessing he wouldn't have stuck around too long. It be nice to think we could have gotten a Hogan/Austin Wrestlemania match in 1999 but I doubt it, Ive always wondered had they tried to get Hulk Back in 97 and have him as the guy to war with McMahon how sucessful it would have been if Austin bombed in early 97.
  9. How on earth can a Cass/Show match do better ratings than a dream match like Nakamura/Cena?
  10. It didnt seem like WWE wanted the tag team to be sucessful. When they came in they were immediately entered into the tag tournament and didnt even win it because all WWE wanted to do was push Gotch/English. Yea you're definitely not remembering all of the circumstances there. If I remember right had Enzo not got hurt they still would have lost the match, plus they lost the rematch too.
  11. Beefcake in the late 80s seemed like he was the 3rd most popular guy in the company behind Hogan & Warrior. I think he was rumoured to take the belt off Perfect had he not been injured. Since he turned face I don't think I saw him lose that many matches, well we never got house show matches over here so seemed he had a good win record. Sole Survivor in 89, beat Perfect at Mania, probably would have beaten Honky at Summerslam too.

  13. Heyman just did a promo and said if Lesnar loses at Summerslam both of them will quit WWE. To do a throwaway line like that leads me to believe Brock is going back to UFC.
  14. So why not just dub Real American during his 2002 run? A Generic theme was just worse.
  15. Just been watching Hogan vs Rock from Mania 18. Forgot how awesome this match was. Best match of the show and they were crazy for not having this end the PPV.
  16. Some of the Network edits are just odd and I don't know if its changed recently but why did they replace Voodoo Child with some crappy theme? Real American would obviously be better suited for Hogan's 2002 run when he was in Red & Yellow. Even on the Hogan DVD that Backlash match they put Real American on it.
  17. If in the morning you go out and run into a person you classify as a dick, then you've met a dick. If by the end of the day you've met twenty people who you classify as dicks, then... Is Manny still peddling his horse manure of a story regarding the Invader 3 angle? That angle they did on TV where Fernandez beats up one of the Invaders where there was a ton of Blood out that guys mouth. Was that legit? Or was it fake blood?
  18. I was a fan of the JBL Show interviews and it sucks it got canned months ago.
  19. Hogan losing to Warrior at Mania 6. Alough I think that was more of the case pissed me off Hogan kicked out and he still lost. Hebner screwed Hogan!
  20. Watching a random Nitro from 1997 and at the start Nash & Hall jump the Nastys and High Voltage and then Nash procedes to give Schavoine a right telling off saying is this funny, he has a bad back and you want to pick up your kids. They show the replay and then Tony basically tosses the headset down and walks off the job. What was the deal here?
  21. Why do you reckon we never got Hogan/Warrior in MSG at Summerslam 1991?
  22. To be honest after hearing the report on Beefcake on WWE around Summerslam time when he required metal plates in his face I thought he was done as a wrestler. I was very suprised when he came back in 93 for a few matches. I was a massive fan of Beefcake and loved his cutting peoples hair but when he went to WCW I was very disapointed in his run. Even the heel turn seems like it probably would have been better had Vince done it.
  23. This just shows they should have done these years ago and why they MUST continue this series of unseen years.
  24. I'd want to see him take down Conor McGregor. Id pay to see Lesnar give him a kicking in UFC.
  25. Santana lost the IC title to Savage in February 1986, Danny Davis didn't officially turn full on heel until February 1987, a year later. They had been building up to the Davis heel turn forever, but I'm 99% sure that it wasn't even on the radar when the Savage/Tito match happened, it was just happy coincidence that they used as justification for Tito being in the WMIII match. Whether or not it the reason they added Tito is because of Dynamite's back is up to debate. I remember reading that somewhere as well, but I don't remember where, and I can't be arsed to go looking for it. That part of the story may well be bullshit, you could very well be right about that. The stuff about Davis being a member of the ring crew and Mr. X as well as being a ref, I got at the time from a friend of mine who worked at Maple Leaf Gardens, plus Davis talked about it in his "Where Are They Now" feature on WWE.com. Was their any talk of Santana regaining the title?
