How ironic that he's still the biggest star of the company. We'll see how the Ronda superpush goes over the next year he I think they'll look to get her to that position They'll have to keep her "special" to accomplish this, and I have zero faith in them doing so. But that's probably the plan. If they close the show with her, which they probaly won't do, that's a clear sign. Meanwhile, no one gives a fuck about Lesnar vs Roman as the main event. Meanwhile, your most over guy in the company that you managed to protect a whole lot, Braun, has nothing planned for Mania. They better end the show with Cena vs Taker, honestly. Although Taker won't be able to do the "I'm retiring" bit that he did last year and that was so perfect this time around. I thought WWE was having Cena bag the belt at Fastlane. Does WWE see Styles/Nakamura as a credible match? I know us fans do but with Vince I wouldnt be suprised if they do this and make it a triple threat.

As a kid I hated the 92 Rumble match because of how Tunney screwed Hogan from Tuesday In Texas. I would have preferred Hogan to win for a 3rd time. 1990 had some interesting cofrontations from Jake/Dibiase, Brown/Piper to Hogan/Warrior. The best thing was everybody teamed up to eliminate Quake which is something you rarely saw happen with a big guy in the early ones. It made it look realistic as it's hard to believe one guy could eliminate a 400+ pound monster all by himself.

Koko deserves to be in I mean he was wrestling in WWE what 86? and I remember him wrestling Jarrett in 94 on Raw.

What is this our business. You got a Braun hating mouse in your pocket? *Feigning an injury to forfeit a belt is a loss. Is her streak legit or has WWE secretly been bumping it up as I never saw NXT so don't know how long she had been there for. If it is legit do they count house show matches for her streak?

As long as they actually let him speak. I don't want WWE to just have him be his dead man persona like they did with Paul Bearer HOF. I guess WWE forgot about ABA era.

Is that it then for Attitude Extras? I would have thought they would have added some for the Smackdown's considering they keep filming stuff.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4

Paul Diamond should be in that list from Bad Attitude AKA Kato. -
And the Demos, and the Hart Foundation, and the Rockers. I'll be generous and not count the Colossal Connection since that was two thrown-together singles guys. '92 had zero full tag teams in it, with Knobbs being injured and the Rockers splitting up and Jannetty leaving. Smart move since the title was on the line. Im content with Rockers/Harts cos HBK/Hitman became future world champs. Plus it was awesome when Demolition eliminated Andre.

I know people have their favs but if Strowman/Bliss win its a big con. Pushing strowman down our throats week after week never loses unless its against Lesnar or Roman. Id like the tournament it be a bit more unpredictable.

WWE Live Event: Lazy Lesnar demolishes Kane in 35 seconds (with video)

I liked the fan made shirt Orton quoted. Eat, sleep, go back to UFC when you want more money, REPEAT! -
Is Mean Gene injucting him. Loved the days of All American Wrestling.

Greatest Royal Rumble ever would have to be 1990. Not one person was out of place in that. Every other one has been filled with tag teams who looked obvious they arent winning. Yes 1990 had POP but their size looked like they could win.

His matches wit Randy Savage are up on Youtube. I liked the Piper's Pit with Bruno where Piper nails him with a chair but Bruno still kicks his ass.

Couldnt it have just been Kane who squashed Lesnar instead? -
Whats exists for the Piper/Flair feud in the 70s - early 80s?

Just saw a interview with Road Dogg talking about Jarrett and the hall of fame. Why does he think people make fun of With my Baby Tonight? I thought it was a fantastic song!

So how would fans feel if Cena wins the title at Fastlane and they have Nakamura set for Mania but then add AJ . I know I wouldn't like it. I thought their match at Wrestle Kingdom was good.
-
Don't think Ive seen any of that. I thought for a second it was the 84 - 86 run till I saw 3 W's in your post. So hoping to see what 60s or 70s stuff they have.
-
I really hope they don't add Cena to it and make it a triple threat. Cena is one for my fav guys but wrestlemania really needs to have a one on one with Nakamura vs Styles.

I'm starting to dislike WM season. Exhibit A: Every year, they "force" Trips out for a match, and every year, Steph accompanies him so they can play "bad boss" for the crowd. That would be great if they haven't been doing this in some form or fashion over the last 20 years. I think they've milked this whole authority vs everyone else storyline so hard that the teat only has dust left to give. It's not fun, it's not interesting or innovative, it's just stupid, and that's how it comes off on TV. This is why their audience shrinks. Inserting themselves as a "bad authority figure" into an angle with a bonafide celebrity has been done. Every. Single. Year. Yeah, they'll draw some interest in the short term, but it's crap like this that just makes the product seem phony and contrived. I want my wrestling back...

I really hated how apart from Roman they let Braun just beat everone. Should have been more realistic if everyone teamed up to eliminate him.

Hulk Hogan at the Hall of Fame! Or Hogan that night at Montreal where they had to go to a break because they popped for 5 minutes.
-
I was kinda hoping the mixed tags would have had the match ups not look so predictable so you didnt know who was winning.

It still be nice for the Network to get it so we can see the WWF/USWA angle in good quality. I don't think the 80s Memphis stuff would be better quality, most of the master tapes are gone, this isn't like Mid-South or Mid-Atlantic. My understanding is that Lawler claimed ownership of Memphis and has pieced together all the stuff floating around and wants to sell it to WWE for the Network. The big question is whether Cornette's collection would be part of what Lawler has, specifically all the missing stuff from 82-83. If it is, and WWE has that stuff, I'll be picketing outside corporate with a sign every day until they put it up. I'll start social media campaigns. I'll do anything. The world needs to see all the Lance Russell footage available and Cornette is sitting on it. Im sure I remember cornette saying in a shoot interview he regrets selling SMW to WWE. In fairness, he couldn't have expected it to be the only library that they would largely leave on a shelf. That's odd, in his 2'nd Youshoot he said he didn't regret selling it as he had lost 6 figures in SMW and WWF was paying him 6 figures for the tape library so he could break even by selling it. He said he didn't consider SMW something historical to the level of a Championship Wrestling from Florida that he couldn't stand to see buried away in WWE's vaults. Im not sure which interview it was on but he said he had heard that its out there in the trading community in great quality and told fans to actively seek it out which which I took as his way of Jim approving trading so fans get to see it.
