As the owner of a legit kendo stick, I can say they absolutely hurt like hell. The bamboo separates on impact then immediately closes back together, leaving welts where it pinches you. Hurts like a mo-fo on bare skin. Sledgehammer or anything that would legit kill someone is terrible for all the reasons already mentioned. I always thought the title belt shot was dumb, especially when you hit somebody in the back with it. Just looks really weak. Maybe I could buy hitting someone in the head, but I've never seen somebody do it where it looks good.

Catching up on this week's NXT; was Finn Balor bit by a vampire?

Flair's podcast (WOOOOONation)

Finally listened to Russo. Gotta love this guy. So the reason why he wasn't successful in TNA basically boils down to they wouldn't give him money to blow up cars and hire spider handlers. -
Fantastic show guys. Tatanka actually does come back in 1996 and sticks around until after Mania. He gets a match with Bret on Raw but doesn't do much else. The WWE's official line was that he was taking care of family issues and I believe Tatanka has said in shoots that he needed to get off the road and save his marriage.

This is actually a bitchin match. Ryback has had a pretty good year under the radar.

Where is Goldust? Hurt or retired? And whomever it may I'm 99 percent sure that it will just be 3 individuals. I would love for a New Shield though. I might be alone but I think it would do wonders for Ambrose and Reigns to go full Shield.

The Summer was rough but I really liked the WWF TV going into the Fall of 1995. Survivor Series 1995 is a blast. Was that when Watts was booking?

How Much Bullshit is the PWI 500(full list below)

These things are always bonkers. Darren Young at #33 but Titus O'Neil at #171? Is there really any difference between Zack Ryder and Heath Slater these days? Slater at #189 and poor Ryder waaaaay down at #477. That has to be a new low for a guy who's actively employed by WWE... -
Flair's podcast (WOOOOONation)

Flair has had two of my least favorite people to listen to on recently, Bruce Prichard and Mark Madden, and actually made them both listenable. We're really going to test Flair's miracle worker skills because today's guest? Vince Russo. -

Guessing that Table for Three with the second generation divas doesn't air now. -
Uggh, they're really starting to tease Rollins vs HHH.

He needs to use the powerbomb as a finisher. Everybody loves powerbombs.

Some interesting points. I was thinking more along the lines of who are they going to rely on to sell Mania in five years. If you don't have access to part time guys anymore, you're going to have to approach things differently. They're going to have their hand forced within these next few years as these guys fade away. It's gonna be interesting to see how they react.

It's early but I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with Elias Samson's drifter gimmick. A wrestling drifter, I love it. We can throw coins in his upside down hat while he plays guitar on a street corner. Guitar, whiskey, vagrancy. God damn, we could have a wrestling Sam Elliott.

Night of Champions should let us know if we can officially call this a failure. If they build up ONE strong challenger for Nikki, then there's hope. If it's a triple threat or god forbid some nine-Diva sudden death match, then this whole thing is dead.

https://twitter.com/WadeBarrett/status/636276982515417088 What's going on here? That sure looked like a send-off on Raw.

Just break up the groups. Give us a reason to cheer or boo the individuals. Right now they're all fighting for a Divas Revolution. So they're all fighting for the same thing, why should we care who wins? None of the new girls have defined characters on the main roster. And cramming nine girls into one match to get them all a spot is what they've been doing for years in WrestleMania Divas matches. It's a holdover from the old era. You want to get serious, have an important Divas title match between the champion and ONE challenger and let them go. Right now it's all lip service. Show, don't tell.

Got eaten by that new guy in the Wyatt family. Or that 900+ lb gator I saw on my facebook page this morning. He and Axel got hosed by the Hogan thing and I don't even know if they care enough to repackage either of them at this point. Axel was on Superstars last week with his old gimmick. And honestly they stopped using them even before the Hogan stuff went down.

Whatever happened to Damien Sandow?

If I didn't know any better I'd say tonight was Big Show's farewell. Wait, was it?

Pick any year and using that years talent pool, book the oddest WAR six man imaginable. -
Yes. The crowd was in shock when they saw him, dude had a presence that nobody has had in ages. For tonight that was cool. He has been working NXT house shows. I'm really not worried about his WrestleMania card placement right now.

That's gotta be the first time in a long time that a guy skipped NXT television (as far as I know). The guy sitting next to stephanie was an actor from Game of Thrones it's not him. That was a super effective debut, guy is legit scary.
