    Rusev is amazing at the not too much, not too little selling you need to do when you're a monster heel. He reminds me a lot of Yokozuna in that he is excellent in projecting the emotionless killer. And I'm sorry, I don't know what GOTNW is, but that quote is laughable.

    Agree 100,000% and I've been saying this over and over. Short term gain, long term loss. Gotta make your current roster look good too. I'm actually curious how WWE reacts to this. As "dumb" as WWE is most of the time, since Punk left they have been more aware of this fan base lately. Vince himself is appearing on the Steve Austin Show. Podcasts reach a lot of people and judging by how many people had trouble downloading this, this one is going to reach record numbers of fans. Punk brought up so many good points. What a fantastic interview.

    I agree with most of this however Brock Lesnar isn't annoying and he doesn't get cheers. There's ways to do it.

    I like the heel that is hated because he beats up guys the fans like. That Hall of Pain run got over big because Henry plowed through everybody. I feel when they try to tap into other ways of heat, they just become annoying instead of hated.

    They did this with Michael Cole and at the same time he was shilling the social media stuff.

    Bray interview is great. I think WWE can cut the overly theatrical stuff from his act and have him talk like this and the gimmick will still work. He's an interesting guy. Also heard the Naylor namedrop, that was cool.

    I hope so. If we're going back to heel Cole and the laptop on a recurring basis I don't know what I would do. That shit was unbearable.

    He's been wrestling one or two matches a year for a few years now. This isn't some new development. All reports say that even that takes some effort. He did have the perfect story to go out on. He finally lost. 21 and 1. What do you do after that? People need to let it go.

    I hope that they can get Bryan somehow involved in the authority goodbye since this all started as his angle. It would be a fitting end and they could even say how he wanted to update his fans on his progress ala Reigns, but the authority wouldn't give him the tv time.

    Nice to hear Dylan say the Divas match was at least "fine." I thought the "worst match ever" stuff I've seen floating around was insane.

    I agree, and i worded it wrong. I do think he was weighing both options in his head at the start and made his decision in the moment.

    There's interesting things you can do with the Big Show stuff. We've established that he can't afford to lose his job, whether you think it's stupid or not, it's consistent with his character. He had beef with Mark Henry, so even though he knew he was turning he got revenge on Henry first. In his mind he made the right decision at that time because it looked like the authority was going to win so instead of going down with the ship he helped Hunter. He can explain tomorrow that he did what was right for him at that time and in hindsight he made the wrong decision, but he doesn't regret trying to save his job for the good of his family. He doesn't have to turn full blown heel, but the babyfaces obviously won't trust him.

    I think Christian's in ring days are over. WWE.com also announced Bad News Barrett will be on the pre-show. Not sure if he's just going to be on the roundtable or if he's cleared to go.

    I can see guys like Swagger, Kidd, Slater, etc getting thrown into a last minute elimination match. And I guess Fandango (where has he been?) is wrestling a mystery opponent (NXT call up?) I think the main event has received an excellent build and I'm anticipating it getting a lot of time and being very good. I can see this being a pretty good show and at the very worst pleasantly surprising people.

    Putting him against a heel the fans were going to cheer like The Rock right out of the gate was a mistake. And Rock being hammy as fuck during that match helped nothing. His goofy overreacting would make 1995 DDP go "Whoah, tone it down a bit out there bro."
