  3. Stan Lane. Somehow Keirn made it but not Lane. A total error on my part.
  4. Thanks again for taking my request and you did a great job detailing the action in your write-up. I'm excited to read more. Also, I'm pleasantly surprised that you actually liked the match so much.
  5. The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Davey Boy Smith, Brian Pillman, and Jim Neidhart) vs. The Kliq (Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and X-Pac) The Four Horsemen (Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Ole Anderson, and James J. Dillon) vs. West Texas Buffalo (Dusty Rhodes, Terry Funk, Stan Hansen, Barry Windham, and Ted Dibiase) The Flock (Raven, Saturn, Kidman, Sick Boy, and Lodi) vs. oWn: One Warrior Nation (Warrior, The Disciple, Horace Warrior, Robbie Rage, Kenny Kaos) Bret Hart's Rogues Gallery (Bret Hart, Yokozuna, Bam Bam Bigelow, Jinsei Shinzaki, and Curt Hennig) vs. Sting's Squadron 1998 (Sting, Lex Luger, Diamond Dallas Page, Davey Boy Smith, and Hardcore Hak) Camp Cornette (Vader, British Bulldog, Owen Hart, and Yokozuna) vs. The Job Squad (Freddy Joe Floyd, TL Hopper, Dr. X, and Leif Cassidy 20-Man Survivor Series: New World Order (Hollywood Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Syxx, The Giant, Konnan, Buff Bagwell, Scott Norton, and Curt Hennig) vs. Latino World Order (El Dandy, Rey Mysterio Jr., La Parka, Psicosis, Eddy Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Silver King, Villano V, Hector Garza, and Juventud Guererra)
  6. Steen's "retirement" promo and subsequent turn on El Generico at ROH Final Battle 2009.
  7. I started a poll + thread for ranking the Flair-Steamboat '89 series if anyone is interested.

  10. Off-topic, but I really enjoy how the title of this thread reads on the homepage: "The Taskmaster and his Dung..."
  11. Very cool. Thanks!
  12. With the Rumble coming up next weekend, I'd like to request a review of the ECW version, the King of the Hill Battle Royal from the 12/24/96 episode of Hardcore TV. It's on the Network, but there is a better version on DailyMotion with all the original theme music. Just an idea since I know you love battle royals and ECW.
  13. The 1997 incarnation was a perfect heel unit with Shawn as the Star, Hunter as the up-and-comer and Rick Rude and Chyna as their muscle. I liked how Michaels feud with Undertaker and Hunter's feud with Mankind all merged and lead to Hell in a Cell. It was just really solid booking in late summer/early fall '97 though, because after the Taker feud is when DX became insufferable. They were sort of redeemed by Owen's return and the Austin-Tyson stuff since there was a lot going on and not a lot of time for sausage jokes. The promo after WM15 where X-Pac returns is an excellent segment and one that had me hyped for the new DX. By the end of the night, they added the Outlaws and I knew this wasn't going to be as good as that promo. By SummerSlam, I was ready for the group to be done.
  14. Interesting question. My only thought is maybe they were saving the #1 Entrance Win for another time. If Flair had entered at #1 and won, they would've blown through two big Rumble storylines in one year with the title being on the line.
  15. Lots of great stuff on there. I myself appreciate the high placement of the Dog Collar Match at Starrcade. One of those times wrestling felt brutal on an absolutely visceral level.

  17. Hogan-Andre is the peak. Starrcade '94 should have been Vader beating the tar out of Hogan to set up a feud.
  18. Great lists guys. A really enjoyable listen and many special thanks to the Toronto Fire Service!
  19. I made this topic since I just found this on YouTube and had never seen it before. It's not on Ditch's site and didn't make the 1993 Yearbook. It was also skipped over by the All Japan Excited Series podcast. It's an awesome match in my opinion, and being the final match of the CC with the names involved it seems like its been snubbed a bit. Was this unavailable until recently? Has it not been looked upon favorably?
  20. I really wanted to see Terry Funk beat the snot out of Tommy Dreamer until Tommy is forced to fight back as payoff to their 1999 ECW feud but we never got the match.
  21. I love the Hogan-Funk matches, I think we have 3 on tape (MSG, MLG, SNME). They work some tags with Dory and JYD that are pretty decent too.
  22. Bruno-Patera Texas Death Match sounds very appealing. Is there consensus on the best Bruno match outside of the stuff with Larry?
  23. I like the Bruno-Hansen series from '76.
  24. MonsoonClassic on YouTube has two JBA-GG matches up. Prime Time Wrestling - 12/14/87: WWF Women's Tag Team Champions Judy Martin & Leilani Kai (w/ Jimmy Hart) defeated the Jumping Bomb Angels at 13:59 when Kai scored the pin following a powerbomb from Martin; after the bout, the challengers cleared the Glamour Girls and Hart from the ring (The Women of the WWF)
