Worth noting there was strong speculation of this last month and Dustin worked the Twitter crowd by saying he was still with WWE.

The Definitive Observer Star Ratings List (and a bunch more)
peachchaos replied to Mokujin Scott's topic in Pro Wrestling
Great work. Thanks for keeping this updated. -
5 moves we want to see in the 2019 Superstar Shake-up on WWE.com Next level trolling from the first line of Sasha's section: "Sasha Banks is a four-time Raw Women’s Champion, but those reigns only average 20 days. Frankly, she needs a fresh start."

[1991-06-03-WWF-MSG, NY] Hulk Hogan vs Sgt. Slaughter (Desert Storm)
peachchaos replied to Loss's topic in June 1991
Totally agree, I always thought Hulk should have gone with the camouflage look permanently. Would have been ahead of the times as eventually New Jack, The Dudleys, Rey etc. would all sport the same look, even if they were all going for more of a street vibe than American soldier. Well, maybe not General Rection. One of Hogan's best dressed and best worked matches for sure.- 19 replies

Is this the first 5 1/2 star match? He probably should have started with 5 1/4 for that first Omega/Okada match and worked his way up to 6 for this to make any bit of sense but yeah no, this will never make any sense. Personally, I'd go the full *******. I'm firmly in the camp of it being the best WWF match ever.

At the very least, Conrad should take advantage of this moment and book him for Starrcast II in a booth with Bret and do a Q&A and everything.

The mask does not factor into Excalibur’s performance at all so it’s a none issue really. He’s fantastic.

Finally caught up on pretty much everything except for Chikara and the Orange Cassidy show which I'll probably get to tonight. 1. NXT 2. GCW Spring Break Night 1 3. GCW Bloodsport 4. AIW Slumber Party Massacre 5. GCW Spring Break Night 2 Found both WrestleMania 35 and G1 Supercard extremely disappointing in their own ways. Mania was just too darn long with a lot of filler and the MSG show was hit and miss. Match of the week was clearly Gargano-Cole, followed by the NXT tag team opening banger, with both the Okada and Kofi wins safely on the next tier. The Jr. three way from MSG was really great too. Dominic Garini and Joshua Bishop is up there with my favorite 'I Quit' finishes attached to one of the most brutal non-death matches ever worked. Bryce Remsberg deserves a HOF nod for the Invisibles match, which is tough to put a rating on, but maybe the most fun I've ever had watching wrestling on a computer screen. Overall, a great wknd of wrestling, with maybe a little less hype coming off of it than last year which had the Riddle and Walter performances with the PCO comeback. I can't think of anyone who's stock rose immensely this year, but there are some good stories like No Legs and Janela's return so there is plenty to chew on I guess.

He cleaned it up a bit, probably a smart move:

start of his feud with The Dream for the North American title, should be good

At this rate it would be better if the shows were pretaped so they could avoid these audibles entirely. I can't imagine any other form of live entertainment making these kind of changes on the fly. The viewer, the performers, the crew...it's insanity for everyone involved.

Shaving some time would have helped some, but the whole thing was a mess starting with Batista tripping on the ropes and then Triple H's entrance with the outdated graphics. When they busted out the tool box it became some next level Wrestlecrap.

Well literally any aesthetic other than the "Kevin Dunn" production style will be a huge breath of fresh air and a step in the right direction. If they're able to go live on Friday nights I think I'll die from sheer excitement and anticipation. All In actually had a few of those Nitro-esque moments with Jericho's surprise appearance but they're on a whole different playing field now. Being The Elite is far from my favorite thing ever, but it's fascinating to watch this whole thing being built from the ground up all on social media. The thought of a Monday Night Wars Redux is basically like when Disney bought Lucasfilm Ltd. and we all realized there was gonna be new Star Wars.

I've made some cryptic posts in the past, and there's really no need for conspiracy theories at this stage. I can say 100% that we're all playing for the same team.

One of those Canadian Stampede-level shows in terms of every match being a hit. I wouldn't put anything here under four stars and the only thing that seemed to lose the crowd a bit was the Walter match. Career performance from Gargano in the Main Event, winning over a negative heat Cena crowd and somehow delivering the final act to an epic story with one of the key players out of the mix. To go from the enormous cheers for Cole in the introductions to the pop for the finish and sustained cheers for Gargano throughout the close of the show is really a masterclass in booking on display in a single match. The Clique deserves an Emmy. I see the negative comments out there but there's just no way for me to look at this as anything except a total home run for everyone involved.
