I never, not for a single second, believed in the Raven character. It always felt like try-hard cosplay by a rich kid.

Sami and KO getting back together as a team would feel rushed at this point, and it's a match I don't give two shits about because I don't give two shits about The Usos or their titles. Roman vs. Sami should be the main event, period. I used to think it should have been Roman vs. Cody, but even that feels like bad timing now. Roman vs. Rock is an attraction, and if WWE gets that for Hollywood, I understand why they have to go with it - but it feels pointless as a title match. If Rock is locked in, part of me hopes against hope that Rock costs Roman the title to KO, and we get a Rock/Roman and KO/Sami double main event. KO vs. Sami on the biggest stage of them all would be an amazing career accomplishment for both of them and awesome for their longtime fans who have been following them since ROH or even NXT. But it'll never happen.

CM Punk - unquestionably their biggest star and draw, and by far their most interesting character by miles - is no longer there. MJF was gone for months, and when he finally did return, everyone had moved on and something was missing. Bryan Danielson has been used like "just another guy" for so long that beating MJF would be considered a major shocker and upset. JAS vs. BCC never ended. Elite vs. Death Triangle is "too much of a good thing," so to speak, and not really what anyone wants to see. Eddie Kingdom has been forgotten and discarded. Repeat this sentence 20-30 more times with your favorite wrestler(s). I could go on and on, but you get the point.

Count me in as someone who doesn't get Swerve at all. Comparing him to Steve Austin? Come on, man. Good wrestler? Sure. Decent character? Yeah, he's fine, I guess. Charisma? Larger-than-life personality? I'm not seeing it. But I'm open to coming around on him.

I'm not overly excited about a Bryan-MJF Iron Man match either, but I think everyone acting like MJF is some talentless scrub who can't work have really bought into the gimmick hook, line, and sinker. It's still real to all of you, I guess.

Wardlow stopped being over - or interesting at all - the minute he won the title from Max. Blame Tony Khan all you want for that - and there's definitely plenty of blame to go around - but start-stop booking hasn't diminished Darby or Eddie Kingston in the eyes of the fans.

Nothing about this show is working for me tonight. Not the new set. Not the slow motion Jericho match. Not the unnecessary postmatch beatdown. Not this Mox-Hangman promo, where their mic work is solid as always, but the content is lacking somehow. It all feels so forced.

Not sure I love the new set/look. Maybe I just need to get used to it.

I mean, if a typo got me an extra 5k from Jericho, I wouldn't really care what his motives were. Also, I believe there's a $5000 donation limit on that site (I could be wrong), so it may have been purposeful so he could donate more. The Queen is on your currency. And how Bryan is used in AEW, especially against Nese.

I've always found it fascinating how you Europeans add an extra "g" to a word that does not need it. Like Donald Trump, whose fiasco of a re-election campaign certainly qualifies as both hard times and (mental/cognitive) illness. Seriously though, sincere kudos to Jericho for donating to a variety of wrestlers and other worthy causes. He's generous with his money, and he's a complicated guy politically (both in the Washington and wrestling sense) and otherwise. Not sure I buy brother @Dav'oh's tax break conspiracy though. Wouldn't it be cheaper to just, you know, not donate? Let's focus on what really matters here, people... Bryan having the type of AEW run that I - not him or Tony Khan - deem acceptable!
