  1. Working fine now. I was hoping to grab it yesterday before driving to Belfast for a night out.... oh well.
  2. Where's the download button Pete?
  3. From what I can tell, he didn't take any time off at all. IMDB claims the shooting schedule was from May to September in 2000, and Cagematch lists match-by-match how Rock worked a full-time schedule throughout that whole period. He must've flown in on some of his days off to film his scenes (which, admittedly, weren't very much in that movie). He supposedly spent so little time on set that he never even met Brendan Fraser during production. Compare this to his time spent shooting The Scorpion King, where he took off most of the time between Wrestlemania and Summerslam in 2001. Rock took a week off to film "Mummy Returns." It was the week they set up the iron-man match between he and Triple H that he wasn't happy about. When Rock returned Jim Ross said he was filming in Morocco and Jerry Lawler quipped "They named a country after him?" Why didn't Rock want to do the Iron man? Worked out ok in the end.
  4. Thanks for that Jingus, but I meant broader interests and understanding purely in the wrestling sense. Interesting to hear a broader interpretation though.
  5. Just getting through the Indies talk with Timothy now and I must compliment you both. You're getting your dynamic down nicely and it's a really interesting listen. And Merry Christmas.
  6. Yup, all sounds good to me. Don't know if Parv ever told you this Kelly, but the WWF videos released in the UK covering the mid to late 80s was paltry. We got the PPVs, Best of Hogan tapes and Best of SNME. Probably a few others too, can't remember exactly, but my point is the 20 Best of WWF tapes, Saturday Nights Main Event etc were not released. It left the viewer with a very limited patchwork of info on 1985-89.
  7. ...And I'd love to see Danielson's list.
  8. Would it be fair to say that wrestlers breaking in from 2000 onwards or so (those that were fans from a young age, anyway) would have a stronger understanding and broader range of interests worldwide than their predecessors? Perhaps this range would narrow as they go on, but it would be there in the early years.
  9. Funny enough, I have thinking while Bix was interviewing Cornette that he's one person I'd love to hear contribute opinions on the GWE.
  10. Filling in at least some of the gaping, massive blanks here http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/32544-top-matches-of-2015/ would be a good start for me. Every time I get going with a good viewing project along comes a podcast to remind me what I should replace it with immediately.....
  11. Bix, I think Vince boasting about never getting addicted to coke was in Mike Mooneyham's book (can't remember title) from 2004 or 05.
  12. Okay, I'll look forward to hearing that. I always got the impression that Regal suspected foul play when he was interviewed, but wasn't sure. I think Jericho mentioned that in his second book.
  13. Yup, the rest of it was first rate also. Hope you give Piper plenty of credit for his 1989-92 run. I know it's not up to his 80s tour de force, but there's loads of quality angles and commentating (loved his reluctance to put Warrior over at SummerSlam 90) as well as in-ring stuff with Rude, Hennig, Flair, Bret and DiBiase. No objections to you trashing the Lawler match and a lot of the WCW stuff though
  14. Any chance of getting Cornette on one of these? Jumped out at me on last weeks interview that he'd be perfect for an 80s episode especially.
  15. That kerwin silfies quote is from the Austin podcast, right? He's just a great big mass of charisma, huh? 😴
  16. Really enjoyable show. Gotta ask though, are you sure Vince knew the details before the Benoit memorial Raw? I've never heard that before.
  17. Sounds like a loaded week, looking forward to this one.
  18. Just coming up to wrestle mania on this but I've got to compliment you all on the detail with which you dissected 1984. It was positively Exile on Badstreet esque.
  19. Good stuff lads. And make as many as you want.
  20. Interesting tidbit on RF's Face Off 18 Pearce-Sapolsky - Sapolsky disagreed with Pearce jobbing out Danielson extensively in summer into autumn 2009. Pearce replied that Danielson was very professional and never voiced any misgivings that he may have had to him. Sapolsky said Danielson wasn't happy about it. Thought this was interesting. Never came across any other info about Danielson grumbling about politics in RoH.
  21. That wasn't me asking on his q & a. The mystery deepens....
  22. That shouldn't be an issue here
  23. Really good listen here. Heard so much of Cornette on this type of thing but felt fresh here.
  24. Marty, I'm curious about a point you made at the end of the show. Were you saying that WWF traditionally didn't book matches differently at the beginning, middle and end of feuds? Or were you just applying that to tag matches?
