  1. It's a lot of fun would be my take. I tend to forget a text doesn't properly convey the intended tone.
  2. What an absolute tragedy. This week has been the absolute worst for Triple A. Not only having to postpone one of your biggest show twice, but also having two people die. I was completly shocked when I read the news. I haven't watched a lot of his stuff, but I liked what I had seen.
  3. I don't have a high opinion of them as singles workers. But they are definetly a very good tag team. They are probably going to make my list, but I have to rewatch some of their stuff first.
  4. "No Jay you have to move your arms more to get the right Bushwacker Bounce"
  5. He pretty much admitted as much in the Flintstone movie.
  6. I think it is just because of Mania coming up. I also think the current slump of WWE goes a bit beyond the normal slump so the complaints are also more prevalent. As for ROH and NJPW, they have been pretty great so far this year, so just giving credit where credit is due. After Mania season the current WWE talk will die down and I hope the Greatest Wrestler Ever project will heat up.
  7. Yeah that sums up my point of view too. Staying up through the whole night to watch a show I have no enthusiasm about. Not gonna happen. I will read the reports after I wake up and listen to the reaction show and then look up anything that seems interesting.

Just listened to that as well. Seems like a weird choice, but then again this whole idea is strange.
  9. Silas probably has the best gimmick in wrestling right now. Just a great package all around. My only knock on him is that I wish he would stop doing that turnbuckle headstand flippy thing as his finisher. It seems really inconsistent with his character.

Wellness policy only counts for the wrestlers themselves. Office staff can juice as much as they like. Also what could they do if it applied to Vince. Should he fire himself?
  11. What Flair should have told Triple H on monday is that the way to beat Sting, is to first pretend to be his friend and then turn on him in a tag match.

I got super scared when I saw Dusty today. When people that used to be very round suddenly loose a lot of weight in old age that is generally a really bad sign.
  13. I know I had better ideas than watching every Uncensored show to find out if it's the worst PPV series in history. Yet I'm still doing it. But I might have reached a breaking watching Perry Saturn as some sort of gothic monster on the 1999 version.
  14. I recently watched that match and the whole show. (Verdict: absolutely horrible) I actually paid attention to the blood because I knew the guys got fired for it, but it is barely noticeable. The whole thing is so shakey and filmed from far away that if you didn't knew they bled you would have missed it.
  15. Watching the January 17th 1983 episode of Mid-South. If you have Andre, Ernie Ladd, the Samoans, Dusty and the Junkyard Dog in town at the same time you know that some restaurants made a years worth that evening.
  16. I think it has more to do with the weather here in the states because usually the stream works out great for me, but today, it's been the worst it's ever been. I'm in Cleveland and we're getting hit with a foot of snow right now, but I know the northeast has been up to their nose in the stuff for days. Hm would make sense. I don't know if they have their own servers over here in Europe like Netflix or not. But if they really only have their stuff in Connecticut then it really does rely on the weather there. Seems almost a little short sighted to have a world wide service rely on one location, but I suppose they already spend enough money on the thing.
  17. So since I did not take advantage of the free month in November I decided to sign up because I actually have some time on my hands in February. Last time I watched the network was back in during the 2 week trial thing they did in the summer and then everything was fine. Have they altered the streaming software since then? Because it is absolutely terrible right now. I can barely watch five minutes without it getting stuck for a while. I have had no problems streaming stuff in HD on Netflix or watching New Japan world. Didn't plan on staying around after the month anyway, but if it stays this bad I won't be back when I have the disposable income to have three streaming services.
  18. Brian Cage is a PWG regular. He is a lot better than the regular meathead. I think he fits the spot heavy style of Lucha Underground very well. The guy regularly pulls off things a guy his size should not be able to do.
  19. I really liked the Thatcher vs Ricochet match from Evolve 37. Is it just me or did Thatcher look a bit bulkier than normal. He towered over Ricochet and I think it helped the match a lot. This was quite literally a clash of styles. The so called Future of flight against a guy who is almost exclusively mat based wrestling. Thatcher like always did a great job working the arm and Ricochet did a good job selling it. At first it seemed weird that he worked the arm and not the legs, since you would assume he would try to keep the flyer grounded. But it made sense as the match went along and Thatcher kept locking in the Fujiwara armbar. It also had the advantage that Ricochet could continue doing his high flying stuff without having to no sell. The reversal of the moonsault into the Fujiwara armbar was a thing of beauty and could have made me think it was the finish, If I didn't knew that Ricochet was going to challenge for the Evolve title at the next show. As a side note: They had a wretched crowd. Completly dead for most of the match, but to be fair it wasn't their fault since the crowd was dead for most of the night.
  20. Pretty straightforward video package. Here is the ace and all his accomplishments and here is the guy coming for his place. Or Okada was talking about how much he loves that lamp. I don't know my Japanese is not good enough for that.
  21. Match of the night right here. Okada and Tanahashi have to try very hard to beat this. When Ibushi and Nakamura started kicking each other in the back of the head this went from a match to a straight up fight. Amazing.
  22. Marked out for that Enzuigiri from Ishii.

    Yuji Nagata

I'd say he is somewhat underrated. Inoki's ownership of the company really held New Japan down in the early 2000's. Pretty much everything he tried did not work. You could put Nagata in the same category, but I think he was just unlucky. Nevertheless Nagata has put together an impressive catalog of matches in my opinion and he definitely warrants consideration for the top 100.

    Matt Sydal

He's a good wrestler, but I don't think I would put him close to the top 100 all time. Top 100 within the last 10 years I can see, but not all time.
