Yeah, I saw this on wreddit earlier. More than a few said they couldn't believe Jim Ross could say something like that. I guess they don't know that 'Good Ol' Jr was a character on a television show.

Summer of 1998 WWF is when I know Russoism has taken control. It was creeping inch by inch in 1997 and it began unfolding itself in 1998. I noticed it in TNA when he came back. Watching Russo television is like the transition from Planet Namek to Frieza saga's. 1999 WWF is like when Planet Namek is beginning to fall apart.. 2000 WCW is when it explodes. Only not as interesting.

Dave has said before that he is careful with who he gets into verbals with. He didn't actually say his name but pretty much everyone could tell he was talking about Kevin Nash one time. It's something that I get but also kind of bothers me when it comes to Dave and Nash. He said he would never get into a verbal with him.. so stays committed to bizarre half-attacks from the safety of his radio show. The WON/F4W crowd are all kinda like that. The most bizarre was when Dave saw Nash posing after he had worked out and got on Twitter and, while never mentioning Kevin, said how ridiculous it was at his age.. this was not long before Dave was posing with the PWG boys and showing off his biceps and shit.

Kevin Nash rocks the short grey hair and beard quite well. He might be more handsome now than in his prime. Scott Hall with the mustache was a handsome chap.

I love that shot of Jarrett sat in the corner looking up at Sting with the belt as the crowd is going mad. Jarrett really sold it well. I'm sure most people who complain about Jeff have never seen a lot of his work. These are probably the people who remember a lot of HHH's though.

How would people here rate the Hardy's? I think Kimberly Page is a classic pro wrestling beauty. I also really liked Tori, Ivory and Victoria circa 2000-2002. During the era of Sable and Torrie Wilson, I was really attracted to Nidia. Still am.

I love these old C shows. All I need now is some Velocity so I can see Sean O'Haire wrecking some of the current WWE 'superstars'.

It's so nice to see someone develop a connection with the fans like Braun has. I would've never have guess when he showed up years ago that he would be the Braun we see now.

Chael is next. I was not as surprised as I thought I would be when I read Fedor had won. Chael is going to be gold in the build to this. I'll be disappointed if Chael doesn't fail a drugs test at some point. Chael > Conor. Conor was an interesting promo on his way up before settling into the Money McGregor character.

Ghana's Isaac Dogboe and his father built a fight against Jesse Magdaleno by saying he was going get Mag deported back to Mexico and present the WBO title to Donald Trump. They had their fight last night and Dogboe took Magdaleno's soul. Rod Salka had America 1st shorts with brick pattern when he quit against a Mexican a few weeks back. Some have said Salka was basically building a name and didn't give a damn whether he lost or not (he's a club fighter) because he has run for an office or something before and was interested in doing it again.

I really, really wanted to say all of this but didn't want to come across as a meany pants. 100% Absolute Truth.

I remember seeing Fedor fight Brett Rogers in Strikeforce. Rogers had some steam at the time and was being hyped as a big deal.. Fedor was getting caught in that fight and I had a feeling he was fading. It's sad he's still going after all these years after that disastrous US run. I can't see Mir losing. I have no idea if either man is on that Wumpa Juice. Is Bellator testing?

Brock won as I thought he would. I can't wait until he breaks Punk's modern day record (you know they'll spin it like that).. which I believe will be in Chicago. Randy Orton got the biggest pop at this Saudi show right? Is he the biggest example of a guy who got pushed the most with nothing to really show for it? I loved Randy circa 2003-2004. How is he so over to this day? Bobby Lashley is still the most overrated returning 'superstar' of all time. He had that rocket up his ass back in the day and nobody fucking cared. Him being just a guy since he has come back is not surprising to me.

TNA Kevin Nash is my favorite Kevin Nash. I remember him joking around on screen about how great he was at getting paid to do nothing. His X Division stuff is underrated imo.

Braun is everything I love about professional wrestling. It is amazing how far he has come since the Wyatt Family days. I wish he and Bliss were still a thing though.

Jim Cornette put MNM together didn't he? I think I remember him saying he brought in Melina. Cornette doesn't get enough credit for the work he did in OVW imo. He only oversaw four of the biggest stars WWE had in the double o's as well as bringing up various midcard acts. Also, SMW gave WWF some of their future stars.

Scott doing the frankensteiner and reuniting with Petey Williams to do math and be Scott Steiner was awesome. He really, really showed up and did the best he possibly could do in and out of the ring for the night.

Mike Tyson did worse and look at what happened when he came back.

I agree about Christian in TNA. I have never really liked Christian at any other time. Same with Rhino and even Raven. Kinda off topic but someone mentioned Batista above and I love the build to main event Batista. He reminded me of a pet dragon or something. The thumbs up segment is a timeless classic I think. I also have vague fond memories (not revisited yet so..) of Batista in 06-07.

I actually dislike shodate.. and I do hate the way he posts. I did not complain about him or ask for him to be banned though. He has contributed more on this message board than I have. Is he really Japanese? Or an anarchist or whatever the fuck?

I got the feeling that if I stopped listening I really wouldn't miss much. I haven't listened since Conrad's rant against Scott Steiner. I still have no idea if that was a work or not. I vaguely remember him ranting and then claiming it was a work. I didn't find it funny at all.. and I really lost interest in the podcast after the War Games Nitro episode they did. Now that episode made me laugh. Loved that episode. The most intriguing thing to me was Tony, of all people, kinda throwing a little bit of weight behind the Kimberly stories. I'm kinda apprehensive to believe that stuff.. especially when the only people I remember talking about it are Scott Steiner, Bryan Clark, Sean Waltman.

I have been reading a lot of the Observer Rewinds on Reddit.. fucking Billy Jack appears here and there hiding out from people who he owes money to or whatever.. pretty sure after tricking them. I've heard he is, was, is a complete head banger and a dangerous man. This is in the 1990's.

Braun and Alexa are professional wrestling to me. I love these little and large tag teams. Kane has that shit nailed down with Waltman, Van Dam and Bryan as the odd partner. By far Kane's best contributions to wrestling.
