  1. Yeah, KVEs selling in this match is incredible. One of my favorite moments is him buckling under the damaged knee while charging out of the corner after Flair. How about how fired up Flair is throwing those rapid fire punches during the third fall! So much intensity here ... love it! ****3/4 - KVE had the crowd in the palm of his claw hand.
  2. I just think Earthquake was a ton of fun. I had him slotted about where he dropped. I loved the Hogan angle as a kid. Earthquake was a BIG deal
  3. Ah yes agreed, loving this project! At this point, I'm thinking about the folks that made it that DID NOT make my list (in the top 85). I noticed there are 4 that made it that I didn't vote for in the top 85. I did not vote for Ziggler or Muraco or unfortunately Honky Tonk Man (he would make my list if I turned it in today). I love that Earthquake made it 79! I also didn't vote for Bobby, but I totally get it. I just made the decision going in that I was only going to vote in people that were known as full time wrestlers so I excluded folks like Bobby and Sherri Martel which are two personalities I absolutely love from the WWF. I must have miscounted by one because I didn't vote for Snuka (for the reasons mentioned in the posting). Anyways, going forward everyone that makes the list was also on my list. Super stoked to see Adonis make it to 71 as well.
  4. I lost 10 today, so 81 of my list will make the top 85... Today I lost... Bayley, Haku, Sami, Larry Z, Duggan, Eadie, Finlay, Funk, Dusty & Ivan Koloff
  5. I wish I could go to that show too, but I think it's at the same time as NXT.
  6. Friday April 6th at 4pm in New Orleans - RPW - tickets on sale now @ wrestlecon.com
  7. I'll be checking out the RevPro show on Friday that has Tanahashi, ZSJ, Ospreay, and Martin Stone confirmed... and... I'll be at NXT/Mania... Looking into others...
  8. I started with 91 today, but now I'm down to 85 after losing 6 more. So, 85 of mine will make the final cut. I lost the Usos, and I'm actually pretty surprised they are not going to be on the list. I would put them up there as one of the company's greatest teams. I also lost Harley Race, Tajiri, King Kong Bundy, and Umaga. Looking forward to the Top 100...

    Royal Rumble 2018

Man, some great posts here, and I'm glad lots of folks here were as fired up about both rumbles as I was. I agree with those that said it was the best rumble in years. I was thrilled to see Rey! I was pulling for him (in a fun way) because I knew he wasn't going to win (I was even randomly wearing his shirt), but anyway I love the final six moment. I'm glad Nak won, and he delivered with probably his best performance since his debut. I loved the Women's Rumble too, and the result. There is a part of me that wants to see Beth Phoenix vs. Nia Jax at Mania... which I will be there so I'm pretty hyped at this point. I saw what some have said Meltzer is reporting, but I personally don't put any stock into his predictions... Great show! Great weekend! Lastly, I'll just say they couldn't have handled the personalities and booking of the final four in the Men's Rumble any better than they did. It was perfect having Nak and Roman in there last, and I also thought the same with the Women. Great not having Ronda throw any punches yet when you can build to that, and I also liked it coming down to Nikki and Asuka.
  11. I dont really know what else to add, but this was incredible. It really blew me away, and it even sucked my wife in emotionally and she never watches wrestling... ***** in my book. This is what its all about.
  12. Today I lost The Brainbusters and Samoa Joe. This brings me down to 91 I'm still hoping make the cut. I haven't really been surprised of my guys that have been cut thus far...
  13. This was tons of fun. It is definitely better than the singles match between Liger and Danielson, and oh man... that Phoenix Splash looked incredible towards the end of the match. Lots of energy from the crowd. Really great chemistry and timing between all the guys. Great match.
  14. I loved this match. Danielson does a great job targeting the left knee of Joe throughout the match. I loved Joe chopping his way out of submissions and headbutting his way out of knuckle locks. Lots of high impact offense from Joe in this and Bryan returned the favor with those awesome looking double axe handle clubbing blows. The desperation lariat from Joe towards the end was timed so perfectly, great spot. Of course, the knees at the end... just awesome.
  15. I also thought they did a great job selling the fatigue by the third fall too. It is a long match, but I agree it's a great one. Probably around **** for me...
  16. I'm running through that mentioned Danielson ROH comp now, and I agree that this was a really good match to open a show. I also enjoyed CM Punk on commentary. These two had good chemistry and I thought Briscoe had a strong presence about him.
  17. I loved this one. It's pretty close to the London/Danielson match (mentioned above) just because I loved AJ's explosive and creative offense so much. I particularly enjoyed how AJ picked apart the left knee on the outside of the ring and it even drew blood to the leg Bryan. Bryan's focus on the left arm of AJ throughout the match was awesome, and he got pretty creative as well with some of his counters that led to cool submissions on that arm. That back suplex from the outside/second rope was something else! I agree it doesn't quite hit the level of the London encounter, but like I said... it's pretty close for me. The match was worked at a little faster pace, and I'm not sure AJ got the chance to really sell the left arm throughout as much as London was able to sell his injuries. Or, maybe he just didn't work it in as well as London was able to. I did enjoy the match without the commentary.
  18. I lost a lot of folks today: The Revival, One Man Gang, Tony Garea, Stan Hansen & Alexa Bliss. I still have 94 folks that have not been cut yet.
  19. This is a really great match. There are lots of little things I really loved about it. I loved Bryan tugging at the ear after locking up and after side headlocks and how he was stepping and grinding on London's face after the knuckle lock. In turn, I also like how he tried to elbow grind his way out of side headlocks. I thought it was a cool moment when London yelled at the ref "he's using the fist!" So, Bryan beating the face of London with open hand strikes. London's offense was really high impact for the most part. His flying clothesline looked incredible, and his counter kicks looked really stiff in the third fall (to Danielson's face!). It was a nice touch going back to selling the leg after the cattle mutilation because London had to stretch his injured leg out to reach for the rope. He sold the head/neck for a few seconds and went right back to the leg. Good stuff. Great match.
  20. Nagata was really laying in those kicks! I agree its a great match in the **** range, and I loved the spot cactus talked about with the slap exchanges. Another great match on this WK card.
  21. Yeah, Tanahashi sold so well in this match and the offense from Kea looked devastating at times. Great **** David/Goliath style match. This kind of felt like the final fight of an 80s action movie to me for some reason. Really really enjoyed it...
  22. Yeah Im right there with you. I really enjoyed this and Nakamura was fighting it out until the final blow was just too much. I liked how Kawada was very methodical and reserved at the top but then he just snaps when Nakamura holds on to the arm after the rope break. They really had me sucked in thinking Kawada might tap a few times, and I liked a lot of the counters. Im glad this match is out there. No complaints from me! ****
  23. I'm looking forward to the next episode to hear you guys discuss... "from the Melting Pot of Sin... on Boogey Street.. also known as B Street in Singapore..." The Boogeyman" Great Kabuki & Magic Dragon put on their Martial Arts Training exhibition. Should be a fun show ha.
  24. I haven't had the time to participate, but I'm loving this thread. It's like a gold mine off matches I want to see. So, just wanted to say to all participating I'm enjoying just following along and picking up some of your suggestions when I have time.
  25. Pete Dunne has been my only one to fall thus far, and I had him low on my list. I do regret not working Tama onto my list. I would put him on there if I were to submit it today. Also, part of me regrets not having Hercules on there either.
