  1. Seems very Flair-esque, just leaving like that. Wondeing where this goes.
  2. I think I'd most likely try out the Kushikatsu. The dipping concept sounds a bit like fondue to me, although different. Ah, the japanese culture. Can't wait to hear what you're gonna do with the resultst of Halloween Havoc, which by this time should have gotten through to you, I hope.
  3. Oh damn, my fax machine is broke and I don't get Asahi Shinbun 'round here. I'd take the risk of giving the main event to the Welters though. I always find it a good idea ot having a real breathtaking spectacle come up last. Kind of like a concert, where often the last song is one to come down, where as I'll happily take an upbeat song so I can get out with a rush of adrenaline ond drain my last energy.
  4. I hate cancer. R.I.P.
  5. That is a really clever solution. And sounds like one hell of a show, as usual.
  6. I'd recommend Toy Story. Funny stuff always works with the girls. At least that's my experience.
  7. Who knows, maybe it's still the same storyline. From buying Raw to buying presidency.
  8. Do I even need to mention the Invasion storyline? Or is it so clear that it doesn't even warrant being named here?
  9. I would so much lobe to get into this and be a part of it all, but I don't have the knowledge of the time nor the time to really get into this. I simply hope this continues and everyone does their best, because this is a great read everytime!

    NXT talk

Yeah, it's ben everywhere. I've watched some clips of his first match, and he didn't look terrible, either. Not like the talent of the century, but t was alright I guess. And it gave WWE a HUGE media push. and almost all of it in a positive way, which is good, I guess. But as soon as it's started, it's over again. He's back to footbal again, aparently, in some amateur league. Shouldn't come as a surprise.
  11. I gotta say with Ellsworth, The Spirit Squad and all of Wyatt's shenanigans, SD surely is the more corny and cheesy looking show, which is not a bad thing, don't get me wrong. But I just can't get over the fact that I just watched the Spirit Squad in a title match in 2016. . .
  12. Definitely Dolph Ziggler. I liked him from the first time he came in and said "Hi, I'm Dolph Ziggler", because I just found it to be so ridiculously stupid that it awoke my interest. For a long time I held him in really high regards, could not understand why he wouldn't reach that top level, saw him as a legitimate Shawn Michaels successor. (I was, am and probably always will be HBK fan, so that's a compliment there). But then over time I just realized how stale he was. Yes there's lots and lots of formulas in wrestling and everyone has their pattern, but I think he was the first one where it really soured him for me. Along with his very inconsistent mic work, he fell really really deep in my opinion. Although, I gotta admit, his work the last couple of weeks/months has been really good and atm, I enjoy watching him and Miz go at it verbally and phisically.
  13. And what a smooth, on-the-fly transmission, as if it would've been planned all along.
  14. I didn't watch it live and was utterly shocked when Bray vs. Randy started and there were still about 40 minutes on the clock... I was really relieved when I found out they had included talking Smack in the actual PPV video. Just the thought of 40 minutes of that match makes me shudder. . . Other than the opening title match, this was really not much of a show I gotta say, though.

    WWE TV Oct 10-16

I'm actually really looking forward to Sasha vs. Charlotte in the Cell. We know these two can deliver in spades, and I'm really excited to see what they do to amp that up. Could be match of the night. In other news, Rusev is now silently applying for taking on the role of Wolverine, now that Hugh Jackman is throuh with it.
  16. I think we have to differ between different kinds of heels. Owens and Jericho are just constantly trolling, and, at least to me, there's little that can infuriate more than being constantly trolled. This in combination with them talking down everything and everybody all the time makes them good heels, in my eyes.
  17. Miz is definitely awesome at the moment, though I liked him for a long time, anyway. And don't forget, I said she might be, not she is. Miz is up there as well. KO and Jerich too, in my eyes. Hell, AJ is really good as a heel right now too. We might need some good top Faces And soon. Very soon.
  18. Monday's women's match gets far too less praise, imo. Although I knew the ending already, I was completely captivated by it. It told a great story between two women who know each other and their typical moves, and know how to counter them. Charlotte is simply amazing, her facial expressions and mannerisms are simply on point. She just might be the best heel on the roster, period. And that Corkscrew Moonsault to the floor cought me completely unprepared and left my mouth wide open. Sasha improves all the time too, I got a feeling that she's getting safer and don't have the feeling she's gonna kill herself with every second move or so.
  19. Miss Elizabeth, and it's not even close. She was so unbelievably beautiful, as a child I thought she had to be an angel.
  20. Right before our local football team enters the stadium, The Game by Motörhead plays over the speakers. Mark out moment for me every time!
  21. Thanks, Jmare.
  22. What is the backstory to this? This is hilarious and proves that a) Bryan has to be one of the funniiest guys in Pro Wrestling (once again) and that he really isn't above even the most ridiculous stuff. Awesome!
  23. Once again antastic to listen to. Keep up the good work!
  24. I thought SDL had a very old school houseshow build to it, with the actual main event (which was CLEARLY portrayed that way, too) in Miz vs. Dolph near the middle of the card, followed by 2 (3, if you count the divas tag) matches. Found it very interesting.
  25. I'm reading and enjoying every second of it, even though my knowledge of japanese wrestling is basically not existent. But this is just so much fun!
