  1. Great numbers for both shows. Let's hope it remains that way for the foreseeable future.
  2. Ratings are in: AEW Dynamite got 851 000 viewers against 845 000 for NXT. Very interesting as opposed to last week.
  3. The comparison with Dark Order comes from the fact that it's both a cult-like mentality. Of course, The Nightmare Collective screamed Straight Edge Society but when you have something like Dark Order that took some time to get off the ground and is finally getting some momentum, don't slap a similar gimmick on TV. Hell, I think the mistake was to actually try creating a stable out of it. Brandi could've done the exact same promo, almost word for word, without mentioning The Nightmare Collective and I think it would've worked better. Just say that she and Kong are willing to do the dirty work no one else wants to do, period.
  4. I hope that what they're trying to do is to build multiple options to challenge Riho for the next PPV, whether in February or March. I was as stunned as anyone to see Statlander go over Shida but if there's somebody they can build on in the Women's division, it's Kris Statlander. I think Shida will recover just fine.
  5. I mean I can buy Brandi's explanation for their act (doing the dirty work no one wants to do) but it still feels too close to what The Dark Order is like. They should've found a way to work the pledge thing differently.
  6. In that case, they really need to separate Nightmare Collective from the Dark Order more clearly. Nightmare Collective seems as much as a cult as is Dark Order and this is not good. Anyone recognized the "pledge" for Nightmare Collective? Some say it was Sage Beckett, others say Melanie Cruise.
  7. And it's gonna take patience....which I don't know how many in the AEW fanbase have.
  8. I was planning to catch up a bit on my schedule but I'm battling a nasty cold that doesn't want to go away so I have to put that temporarily on hold. As soon as it's gone, I'll catch up as much as I can on everything. Sorry again.
  9. Yeah, I honestly don't know why he would stick around. The stench on ROH in light of Joey Mercury & Kelly Klein's allegations is extremely toxic. I would understand if ROH was the only promotion offering him money but I seriously doubt that both AEW & WWE won't make him an offer. To me - and it's strictly my opinion - Marty Scurll would be a much bigger star everywhere except in Ring of Honor.
  10. I could totally picture Jim Cornette cutting that promo lol

    WWE Hidden Gems

All the less reasons for any old school fan to even subscribe. I don't know why they feel so strongly about forgetting to cater to old school fans.
  12. A mob boss always needs more muscle. But a Dark Order also needs its French Canadian Frankenstein.
  13. I would've taken five more minutes of Aleister Black vs Tony Nese though.
  14. Welcome back, buddy!

    USWA

You definitely caught me by surprise with the choice of Jerry Blackwell as Jerry Lawler's surprise partner. I would've expected almost anyone else for a one night thing but Blackwell so it was very well done. Makes you wonder where does Blackwell fit in the title picture after WrestleStorm!
  16. So rooting for the Russians now.
  17. With the rumors of Matt Hardy looking to reprise the Broken character outside of WWE, anyone else would like to see Broken Matt vs Sami Callihan on Impact? Think about the awesome build-ups we could have, plus an eventual battle at House Hardy with oVe!
  18. Ha! I hadn't even thought of it that way but Dark Order could need a monster to offset Luchasaurus!
  19. I might be in the minority here but I couldn't see Shane for the rest of my life and I wouldn't be sad about it. It was just plain overload.
  20. Aldis vs Muta is infinitely better for a PPV sell than Aldis vs Storm. Not even close. And I've always been a James Storm fan.
  21. I would absolutely lose my shit to see him pop up in AEW. They need some hosses in there and if it'd be possible for Marty Scurll to bring in the whole Villain Enterprises stable to AEW, he totally should.
  22. $6500 for this? Hell, the usual replicas are around $350 and I think those are too expensive.
  23. How was it implied that this feud was happening, considering that Janela is obviously in a feud with Shawn Spears at the moment?
  24. Former WCW D-level announcer Chris Cruise has requested from the State Athletic Commission of Maryland to investigate on the Lights Out Match between Mox and Omega at Full Gear, asking if the commission rules allowed for bleeding and if they had assigned a doctor for the show. Correct me if I'm wrong but it doesn't seem to be the first time that Cruise is stirring shit with major promotions. And considering that he didn't even hide the fact that he doesn't want AEW to succeed, I shouldn't even be surprised that he did this. https://lordsofpain.net/aew-reportedly-being-investigated-over-jon-moxley-vs-kenny-omega-match/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  25. Not really surprised, if we're being honest. I mean, probably that Vince popped hard when he saw that Corey tweet.
