  1. Solid card all around. Those 6-men tag are always a good way to steal the house!
  2. I remember Ric Flair saying in interviews that in the 80s, it wasn't rare that Mid-Atlantic were running 2 shows on Saturdays and Sundays.
  3. So, the way I see Nick Khan's mentality; if you make us money in any way, you're safe.
  4. Not only that but Apparently, this is a reference to Xavier Woods' contract being up in 6 months. Considering Breeze's presence on UpUpDwnDwn, Woods could basically tell Vince "Screw you" and leave the company to focus on his gaming projects.
  5. Well, based on Kofi Kingston's story about how he got pestered by Vince during an international flight to the point that Kofi had enough and wanted to fight with him - that being the moment he earned Vince's respect, according to Kofi -, I tend to believe that it's something that is more than plausible.
  6. Looks like KO might be taking some time off.
  7. Ah nice, a little twist on the classic angle involving Harley and Flair. JJ Dillon with them is just the icing on the cake!
  8. Man, I'm enjoying the heck out of Georgia Championship Wrestling already. I think this might become the main attraction over Mid-Atlantic.
  9. What does "Doudrop" even mean?
  10. Izz Toft is probably the greatest enhancement talent name I've ever heard. On a serious note, looks like Classy Freddie Blassie won't mourn the departure of Hogan for very long!
  11. Hell, I would also keep an eye on Hit Row and Ever-Rise (who coincidentally, wrestle each other next week). They can plug any team in any spot any time. It's probably the best their tag division has looked in a while. Imagine if Danny Burch wasn't injured and they could still have Oney & Danny active.
  12. Felt like it was their strongest TV this year, IMO. That main event was a banger of a match and there cannot be too much love for the work that Grizzled Young Veterans are doing.

  15. Very solid tag match. Best match of the night.
  16. Yeah, but they recently let Raymond Rougeau go as they're now taking their French based guys (Agius & Chereau I think) to handle the French commentary on shows. But Ray saved his money and is financially set for the rest of his life.
  17. Reminds me a bit of when they did the Abyss/Judas Mesias feud in TNA where we were supposed to buy Mesias as James Mitchell's new monster and Abyss was easily dwarfing him.
  18. If you disregard that bit, Smackdown was pretty good last night. Montez Ford and Chad Gable had a little banger of a match.
  19. Having a lengthy history together through the span of over 20 years, it isn't truly until Big Show has to step in for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who's gonna be out for a year following neck surgery that the World's Largest Athlete will truly get his chance to prove that he belongs in a main events slot in WWF, something that he didn't truly have the opportunity to do when he first made a spectacular debut in the company during the IYH: St. Valentine's Day Massacre main event a few months earlier in February 1999. This is the thread to talk everything Triple H vs Big Show!
  20. I mean, considering Dino Bravo's real-life link to the mob (former Montreal mob boss Vic Cotroni was legit Dino's godfather IIRC), I wouldn't even be surprised if that turned out to be true.
