I still can't stress enough how impressive it is for Daniel Garcia to have come back at that level after he had that major car accident 2 years ago. It could (and should) have been a career-ender; and yet here he is on a major stage, building his credentials more and more as weeks go by.

I would make the argument that based on the finish of last night's Dynamite, the Lucha Bros are winning at All Out (if they don't, then I don't know who you can have beat the Bucks at this point) but sooner or later, it's gonna take that moment where things start to unravel for The Elite and that some of their strategy backfires on them.)

This hits too close to home for me. This weekend, my family is burying my cousin, who took his own life at age 19 a few weeks ago. Just like Daffney's friends and family, we wish we could've seen things coming and act on it but we didn't have that chance. Please, never hesitate to seek help whenever you need it. There'll never be too much awareness being raised about mental health. As for Daffney, I always thought she was one of a kind. She stood out in an era where a lot of the focus was on the sex appeal when she first appeared. She was able to bring her own touch on her character and truly develop that. Her pairing with Crowbar & David Flair was quite entertaining. Condolences to the Sprull family as well as her many friends in the wrestling business.

Feeling a bit bad for Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, who might get phased out sooner rather or later if that's the case. However, I look at a guy like Ridge Holland and Vince will immediately be enamored with him, I think.

Wonder if this is the last time we see FTR tonight or are they going old school and working us about the condition of Cash Wheeler.
-
Hey, if we got Juventud Guerrera a few weeks ago, there's no reason that the real Chairman couldn't appear on Dynamite himself!

Perhaps that Charlotte pulled a "That doesn't work for me, brother" to Vince on this one. And based on what we saw against Nia tonight, she might regret it a bit if that's the case. But that show screamed "massive rewrite by Vince hours before the show." Virtually nothing that was advertised happened in the end.

Could they actually move the 9/22 show out of the NY area if the COVID-19 restrictions are too severe?
-
I think that as long as they don't wait too long, it can work. For me, the ideal timing is Full Gear in November.
-
If I remember correctly, the baby is due around All Out Weekend, thus why they veered away temporarily and went with Kenny vs Christian instead.
-
Seems that way already for Dynamite next week with Cage vs Hobbs and FTR vs Santana & Ortiz.

I actually wonder if it happened on the first dive she did on Jamie Hayter. Looked to me like she landed a tad awkwardly. But yeah, she almost Enzo'd herself in the ropes.

Words cannot describe how was Red Velvet vs Jamie Hayter. That was seriously embarrassing on multiple levels. Everything felt so off. As for the main event, I would've been fine with it if Dustin Rhodes had run in to make the save on the Andersons rather than Lee Johnson. This felt like a 1995 edition of WWF RAW where they put the big match first and the crap went there after. Seems obvious now that they were banking on Punk's first Dynamite appearance to pop a rating.

I was wondering how long before Legado de Fantasma would counter the presence of B-Fab for Hit Row with somebody and seems like Elektra Lopez/Karissa Rivera was the answer.

Just 20 000 people getting free ice cream bars while getting out of the arena in Chicago.

There's also Lucha Brothers vs Varsity Blondes with the winner facing Jurassic Express this week on Rampage for the Tag Title Eliminator tournament.

I'd be curious to see Anthony Bowens on his own, coming up with something different than The Acclaimed's act, and see how he could get over the same way Dante Martin is doing right now. Bowens got a great physical look so he has that star power look potential. Just about giving him the right opportunity.

That's pretty much what I think too. With AEW allowing their talent to work indies, this allows them to keep a certain aura of freshness and buzz among specific talents without them overstaying their welcome in that position, so-to-speak. And with Dark & Elevation being used to pretty much pad stats and give exposure to unsigned people, there isn't any real harm yet with all the wrestlers working an AEW show every week. Honestly, I don't know why WWE hasn't gone with the talent rotation over the years rather than the proper brand split. It pretty much accomplishes the same thing without compromising the possibility of fresh matchups.

Impressive numbers

Depends. If they use that bait & switch to get Becky back, trust me, they won't be that bothered.

Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Yujji Nagata (New Japan Pro Wrestling)

And I think this works because of the nature of who AEW targets first and foremost with their audience; diehards. They always know they're in to what's about to happen so once they realize what's about to happen, they know their part and what they gotta do to make the moment feel special. We saw that again last night.

If I were AEW, I'd start with the first notes of Sirius and then, go straight to Cult of Personnality. You know that crowd will go apeshit so go balls to the wall with it.

And Bryan better come out to the Final Countdown.
