"He's ambitiously stupid" - Why Scott Keith's new book is scary bad
SirEdger replied to Bix's topic in Megathread archive
I doubt that any promoter would leave it at chance for a shoot wheel to book their card for that specific type of event. Although I think that would be hilarious. -

I literally lost it at Hussein Arab calling Floyd Creatchman "Floyd Creepman"

Yo, I actually didn't even make the connection between that and why Michael Hayes & Terry Gordy stepped up to volunteer in the cage match between Kerry and Ric Flair.

I can understand the argment for both sides. Yeah, DDP did the Diamond Cutter from various angles sometimes but you look at some of Orton's most memorable RKOs and the timing on those were insane: the Evan Bourne Shooting Star Press into the RKO, Seth's Curb Stomp attempt into an RKO at Wrestlemania 31 - I believe there's also one from RAW with Carlito attempting a springboard or something that was awfully nice too.

Having Pretty Boy Floyd as their manager has become a great asset for the Della Serra Brothers. Gonna be awfully hard to take those titles away from them!

Some solid cards all around. I see that you took the History of WWE template for your show results and I've always loved that format so that's great. Nice to see that even without titles being defended in the B-towns, you still have guys like Rocky Johnson in the main event slot to draw houses, which is a smart move. Having him wrestle Slater in those Southern towns can only bring you the heat needed!

That's the one, yeop.

Basically, the only matches available from the Montreal territory have been put together on the Golden Era of Quebec Wrestling DVD set that was released independently a few years ago (I have volumes 1 & 2 at home, only 3 missing) or if you're lucky, some people might upload their stuff on YouTube.

The feeling I had when watching that clip of Sasha smilling is the feeling of someone who felt the satisfaction of getting the job done and also looking back and enjoying seeing someone getting that moment when she won her first title with the promotion. I'm pretty sure that Sasha takes more pride in being part of this moment for Bianca last night than the length of that reign.

Seems like they'll be in the clear for tomorrow night, though. Based on the Weather Network, there's risks of a thunderstorm between 3 and 5 PM but that's it.

I wasn't targeting anyone here in general but that was just something that I noticed a lot lately, especially when it applies to that specific storyline. I'll never subscribe to the theory of "If you love wrestler X or storyline X, you're a moron"....at the end of the day, everyone should be able to enjoy anything or anyone they see on TV every week without feeling guilty about it. Honestly, as for the crowd general reaction, I agree with @El-P that people will generally be thrilled to attend live Manias this weekend so I don't necessarily expect a hijacking like we've seen in recent years. As it pertains to the specific Fiend/Orton match, I actually expect kind of a 50/50 crowd reaction (Orton has always been popular, no matter what so I'm expecting people to cheer for him more than flatout booing The Fiend) but it should make for quite the atmosphere. Also looking forward to some special entrances as well.

You would be surprised at the number of pics I see on Twitter of parents tweeting pictures of their little girl dressed like Firefly Alexa. As much as you guys can hate it, that character is over with that part of the audience. At the end of the day, everyone is free to enjoy what they want out of their product and shouldn't be that bothered about people who loves what you hate. That's one thing that I just can't wrap my head around; why does it bother some people that they love something you viscerally hate?

Won't lie here; really digging the Eddie Gilbert/Stan Lane combination. You got something there and I hope to see more of them together!
