  1. Let Bryan beat the shit out of both of them.
  2. Roman Reigns made the leap from a great tag wrestler to a top tier singles wrestler at Summerslam 2014, for me. Also, Braun made the leap when he squashed Ellsworth. It was from that moment on we knew we had something special.
  3. I don't want to live in a timeline where Volk Han never did pro wrestling. Or in a timeline where RINGS never existed, while we are at it.
  4. I'm not sure if it's because I strongly dislike KO, but I feel like he's done this shouty, screamy acting throughout his whole career, "YOU DID THIS" included. I am sure he's done this to either Zayn, Jericho, or both.
  5. Excellent stuff by Jimmy. And that's just mentioning how wrestling does it. If one were to mention how other types of media encourage dangerous and sometimes criminal behavior towards women, we would be sitting here for days. It's just INSANE to say that "rape culture" is a creation of the new left (as if the right shouldn't worry about subjects like these, what the fuck) and that this doesn't happen in reality. Specially living in a country like Brazil were violence aimed towards women reaches staggering numbers, someone saying anything remotely like that is just flat out stupidity.
  6. The thing is: the maximum we had of JBL "bullying" Mauro was that clip on Bring it to the Table which really wasn't anything anyone should bat an eye. The rest was just people citing previous cases of JBL being a dick, but not a single thing, a single rumour about what he could have done to Mauro. I get that Mauro has had some personal issues in the past, some that even caused him to miss some SD days, but the dogpiling in this case was just.... baffling.
  7. Considering how Meltzer reported on the issue and how pretty much nothing came of that except JBL being wrongfully (in this case, at least) called a bully, I'd be pissed off too.
  8. Dear Lord. Where to even begin.
  9. That's surprising to no one. Who knew all it took for SD to be interesting as a show was one of the biggest stars of his generation announcing he's cleared to compete after two years???
  10. Worth noting, but I think DB cut the best promos of his life this week. That Talking Smack (miss u bae) project paid off big time, if you ask me.
  11. One thing that always made me scratch my head was the theory that Christopher Daniels was supposed to be The Higher Power. How was that theory created? Who thought this could be a good option? This just puzzles me because I saw that many, many times and I never saw who gave that information or even how the fuck that would be a good idea.
  12. Steenerico is a fucking awesome tag team, come on now. I know, I know. Is just that KO has been such NOTHING for the past few years, I expect Zayn to do well as he usually does, and expect KO to drag things down. Like, I hope I am wrong but I can envision him doing a lazy ass chinlock for 3 minutes to DBry at WM, because that's what he does every single match.
  13. Maybe Shane and DBry can carry KO to something good this time.
  14. I'm pretty sure he is on Raw and was on SD when they were good.
  15. I am grateful it isn't. I can't imagine that sort of match being featured on the biggest show of the year.
  16. Yes, I read your posts my man. WWE still gave Hardy lots and lots of time over the course of months to develop his WOKEN Hardy character, giving people who watched TNA something to keep an eye on, and give something different to those that weren't aware of what that was. They are making it crystal clear that they hate so much this program that they advertised it for weeks and weeks, giving Hardy the chance to develop his crazy little universe. His wife is there. His children are there. Vanguard 1 is there. The lake of reincarnation, Skarsgard, the lawnmower, Brother Nero, SeƱor Benjamin, every single element of his project is there. Maybe the absence of a burning Hardy symbol, and crazy Swanton Bombs, but that's okay. If the intention is to BERRY Matt Hardy and get across the message that they hate it... then why even have go so far as to give that much time to it and have a nice final match for that feud? It was cut on the Hulu version, yes, but if you watch the full episode, there's a good reason as to why that happened: it was the least consequential of all ongoing angles right now, at least when it comes to Wrestlemania. Let's see what we had (not sure if that was the exact order or if I got every single thing by memory, but it might be close), shall we? Roman/Brock $$$ segment; Asuka fighting Alexa and Kurt announcing Nia/Alexa at WM; Braun announces he has a partner for WM, but doesn't say who; Revival announce they are entering the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, something WWE has been pushing a little bit; Sasha/Bayley feud develops; Miztourage vs Club w/Rollins on commentary; Great Ronda video package; Ultimate Deletion. So, imagine putting UD anywhere else on the card. It basically HAD to be the main event, due to its format. It still got tons of time, got a nice production and had a reason to be. Cole saying it's obnoxious is really, REALLY blown out of proportion. Now, if you wanna say they should give Hardy something for Wrestlemania, while true (although he could still be on the Battle Royal and we still got two weeks to go) doesn't really indicate he is burried. I mean, they went out of their way to develop it this character that was pretty much linked to TNA as much as it was with Hardy himself.
  17. Fastlane 2015 is a thing that existed. Given how Reigns developed, him losing to Bryan now seems the more likely result.
  18. Assuming both man are healthy in 2019, Miz vs DB is the ONLY possible match for both at WM 35
  19. DANIEL BRYAN AND AJ STYLES VS THE USOS NGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  20. Yeah. Matt Hardy got so buried he's spent the last few months appearing on TV, doing his own vanity project and got basically all of his family to appear in the last match of the feud. So buried. Besides, with the result of the match, it's quite possible they are going to rewrite Bray. I would be down for an amnesiac Husky Harris slowly rediscovering himself as Bray, as much as I hate the wrestler. I'd blame Bray, too. He's had so many ideas with this character and basically none of them actually made for a consistent character. If you wanna do Waylon Mercy, just do it. You don't need to spend 5 minutes rambling on with your promos and doing crazy spider walks.
  21. Is this a rare occasion of universal unison against the term "football" being used for that sport?
  22. Oh my fucking God. Territorial pro-egghanding. Refuse to call that football.
  23. It really wasn't a burial, dude. Are we forgetting that he was WWE Champ beating AJ Styles and John Cena on the same match last year? Like, Michael Cole commentary aside, it was actually a pretty good rendition of the original Final Deletion match.
  24. Who should induct Mark Henry? Big Show seems the most likely, but I really wanted D'Lo.
  25. Weirdly fitting that we are discussing proper grammar on a Dave Meltzer thread; even more when he berated Miz for saying Prince 'Nevitt' in his very good (as usual) promo
