  1. Shingo Takagi, folks.
  2. I honestly don't want to see Lana in AEW. Miro is perfectly fine solo, he doesn't need a mouthpiece.
  3. I agree that the initial arm work in Ibushi-Omega isn't particularly great, but they did find a way to bring it back in the finishing stretch that I really liked.

    El Satanico

    Awesome, thanks!

    El Satanico

I honestly didn't know he was still an active wrestler. Although I did see a match between him and Dandy a few years ago that I liked. I'll see if I can find the Chicana match.
  6. Excessive stalling. I don't mind when a heel tries to stall for the first minute or so, but anything beyond that I feel like screaming "DO SOMETHING!" The shocked face following a kick-out of a move that has never won a match is also ridiculous. Not so much of an in-ring thing, but the use of insider terms on commentary or in promos.

    KUSHIDA

I don't think I would consider KUSHIDA but I'm glad he has a thread because he really is very good. Great mix of technical and high-flying offense. Was at least a top 10 wrestler in 2016 and 2017.
  8. So did I. Wasn't a fan of the overbooking in Archer-Miro or the three-way, but I think it worked here. For me personally it added a shred of doubt and drama to a match with a forgone conclusion.
  9. He was also responsible for scouting Bianca, Tay, and Jade to WWE.
  10. Awesome! Thought this was the best show of the year so far. A bit too long and not thrilled with the booking of Ogogo-Cody or the three-way, but mostly everything delivered.
  11. Oh you're there live? Awesome.
  12. Good match even though it felt a bit odd to do this after Blood and Guts. Didn't expect IC to win but Sammy getting the pin was cool.
  13. Muto is someone I plan to a deeper dive on because he definitely seems like a controversial pick. From the little I've seen, wrestling as himself he could be great but as Muta he relied too much on the gimmick and charisma. And while I haven't seen any of the matches, his current run as NOAH champ has been super polarizing.
  14. So apart from letting Bryan work some dates, this looks to be much ado about nothing.
  15. Per Meltzer, Nick Khan has been in talks with New Japan about a possible partnership and make WWE the sole provider of U.S. content for them. On the one hand, I have no idea if they're in any real financial trouble. On the other hand, teaming up with the most creatively bankrupt promotion that wants to monopolize wrestling seems like a bad idea.
  16. Nice.

    Vader

    I like all 3!

Cactus Halloween Havoc, probably the Dome match against Misawa, maybe Jun? I also really like the Starrcade match with Flair.
  19. I would definitely recommend the matches with Jun, Fujita, Tenryu, and Kawada for a glimpse at early Shibata.

    Stan Lane

I'm considering Stan as well. I love the Fabulous Ones and the fact that he did that as well as the Midnight Express warrants consideration.

    Ric Flair

Looking at that pace working championship matches, it's amazing his body didn't give out sooner. I guess landing on his shoulder added years to his career.

    Bret Hart

Well said and is pretty much my conundrum with Bret.
  23. I haven't seen his entire AJPW run but count me as one who enjoyed it. Especially the Kobashi match.

    Yuji Nagata

Even though his output has diminished due to being an undercard guy now, Nagata is still very good. I've also enjoyed most of what I've seen out of his 00's work, so he seems like a lock to me.
