Tony should just absorb Dana's lack of morals and make the end game bizarro american federation we all deserve
-
If you look at what is happening with the UFC card this weekend and what they're doing after this giant bust up at the press conference, it should be a real lesson for Tony i think Just make three new matches at the next card/Dynamite, fuck it, let's go Punk might have a torn bicep but make him fight Young Buck #2 anyway

Fenix has a great cutter/rko/stunner you know Feel like they should make a lot more of it
-
I would think the message board shitposter part of Tony Khan must be loving all this in a way
-
I dont see the point of it in the slightest, but thats never stopped these work/shoot angles before If it's actually just Punk being a dickhead then they need to give him a good kicking really
-
That Punk interview was a good laugh but it feels like a work to me However, if its not a work - much like i said when Cody left - whats the point in being an "EVP" if you get no stock options, have no equity in the company, and there's a lad you obviously detest winning the big belt and talking shit about you without any comeback. When the only reason the place exists is because of the legwork you all put in Can't blame them for wanting to let out frustrations on Punk if that was a shoot Interesting place AEW.

The Principality has a retractable roof so there is the option either way but don't know how long it takes to close tbh

Regardless of circumstance Fish was right in saying that Punk's kicks are fucking terrible, it pains me to see people having to sell them. And i like Punk
-
Punk trying for the Canadian Bret Hart vs USA homage/cosplay seems to make most sense to me Bret had much better kicks though
-
Yeah thats a good point really. It's a shame they dont have a modern-day Sid

Tim Storm could be a good little manager somewhere if the role was in fashion. Great talker
-
Regardless of the background, grumpy old bastard CM Punk is a much better character than sincere Stella Gets Her Groove Back CM Punk

Tornado tag has been a good laugh

Haven't watched this that much recently but got it on on ITV here. Did this really start with a coffin match full of blood or did the UK broadcast start oddly Seems like a strange way to start a show unless they're trying to keep an audience from the lead-in? Can't get my head around it

There's some bizarre match-ups on Pro from 97. I did a skim through a few years back & you're seeing stuff like Public Enemy v Doc Dean & Robbie Brookside, Jim Duggan V Super Calo Some episodes are almost surreal; a lot of good stuff hidden in that show, though

There are plenty of supposed low-level MMA companies that have much better camerawork and direction than WWE. Numerous other sports, countless football leagues, the athletics, boxing etc etc A slightly perverse myth generating here about the wrestling being a special niche product that few can produce. Most backstage segments are a one camera tracking shot at best

Hopefully he goes Japan next and Kobashi throws a bit of Family Mart katsu fillet at him

I still watch NXT UK most weeks though i do have a vested interest i guess I'd probably watch Rampage if it was on uk tv, always prefer a b show to the so-called main show.

The Gentleman Villain with Willian Regal
Dale Wolfe replied to The Thread Killer's topic in Publications and Podcasts
Listened to the Fit Finlay/British wrestling one yesterday, probably the best one so far i think- some really good stories on an era you don't get enough about really Regal has the best blue chew adverts by miles as well -
I like Dibiase in mid-south a lot. Been a while since i watched it but I remember a great couple of matches against orndorff, a really good flair one, magnum ta etc Nostalgia is a killer but i wouldnt be surprised if it holds it own against the wwf stuff. My taste couldn't have been that too bad at the time! Edit- the flair one is the murdoch double turn, is on youtube

If getting rid of Dunn means they can transition back to a watchable visual style without the rapid cuts, then that's a big step in the right directiom straight away

Heyman should not be let loose on creative They need new blood not 25 year old ideas
