  1. The whole build during the show was excellent. Not me of my favorite Flair or Vader matches because I had no emotional attach, ent to either guy at the time I watched the match but I think I want to rewatch it since it has generated so much discussion.
  2. Anytime I can include midget matches on a set, it is a treat. Loss, was it this match or the singles match that we almost cut?
  3. Dylan, KrisZ and I watched the two handhelds and the Barely Legal match in preparation for the ECW set and I didn't get a "been there, done that" vibe at all. We cut the handhelds for time constraints and there were enough M-Pro matches on the set. However, as long as there are matches in between the M-Pro Ten man tags, I could watch these guys go anytime a match pops up. Especially Dick Togo... I always love his stuf in these tags.
  4. I love including moments like these on the yearbooks. Lawler always comes across as a guy who genuinely enjoys his interaction with these kids. It is quite a jarring juxtaposition when you hear about his affinity for underage girls.
  5. This is all about the crowd. I try to eliminate as much Benoit as possible from the yearbooks but I thought the crowd made the segment worth viewing. It totally captures the insanity of Monday Night War era crowds. The same can be said for the Chicana-Metal matches that appear later on the set.
  6. I was talking to EricR a few weeks ago about this match and he said that when you think of 1997 Indys, Cheetah Master and Ace Darling are two of the first names that would come to mind so it was cool to include this match to represent who were the hot shit on the Indys during this time period.
  7. I am just proud of you for watching the joshi matches. I know it takes a lot of mental preparation.
  8. I thought this was good enough to warrant inclusion on the yearbook. My notes are at home but I remember a really sick clothesline in the last round. The first two eliminations meant nothing but the last ten minutes were really good.
  9. I think the only other image that rivals the bloody Austin is Foley falling off the cage.
  10. Talked to Rippa... Working on it.
  11. Matt, why is your post in the DVDVR thread? What's the connection?

  13. Not my favorite songs
  14. Don't feel bad... if I didn't make a little coin making these things, I wouldn't be allowed to watch as much wrestling as I wanted either.
  15. Childs, just curious, would this have a chance of making the 1980s set if it took place in that decade?
  16. What was the shocking end to the last Chikara show?
  17. I'm a William Regal guy. He is creeping into my Top 5 right now the more I watch him.
  18. Can rovert or somebody tell me what happened at the last Chikara show to open up this speculation? Post spoiler tags or not.
  19. Park Place was a nightclub that had 4 different clubs in one. They had the disco club, the country club, a karaoke bar and maybe a modern dance club... don't quote me on this. I actually had quite fond times there... some I remember.
  20. The cover shot was a parody of Demi Moore posing nude while pregnant for Vanity Fair around this time.
