  1. I did. Cyndi Lauper brought an audience of people both male and female . She was HUGE at the time.
  2. Normal people who didn't watch wrestling. She was a HUGE star at the time , there was no gender issue involved .
  3. Oh totally. Then people online had to shit on their fans because "fat girlz who love them". It was awful seeing fucking wrestling fans going full hypocrite. No wonder most boards are sausage parties.
  4. I'd fuck Tito, kill Jesse, and marry Barbarian.
  5. Divisive how? Between the "It's awesome" camp and the "It's Super Awesome" camp ? 😃
  6. Don West eventually evolves into a great announcer, especially when he went heel.

Miz and Morrison were a great example of two guys they had nothing for who got thrown together as a team. Then they worked hard and got way over and became a great team.
  8. Dylan hit it right on the head regarding Homicide's presence back in mid 2000's ROH and JAPW. There was a lot of great talent running around back then but only a few seemed "complete". Homicide was one of them. I'm a huge fan. I also got shitfaced with him after an ROH show and he was wearing khakis and a pink polo shirt. So I love the guy on a few levels. 😃
  9. Given the history of what happens when you book a break up and get together with someone else, I don't blame HHH at all. 😃
  10. I was at a house show a few years ago where I sat next to a grown man who thought it was real to the point where he had to be held back from storming the ring to attack Chavo Jr.
  11. Betamax was still around in 87? That guy was either insane or a total con artist unloading old Betamaxs. Cause no video store in the town I lived in still had Betamax tapes in 87. 😄
  12. Says "Bad Little Kitten". Is that your Grindr name, too? Seriously, I'm looking for some fun.

  14. I just watched this week's NXT show. Man, it was a really great hour of wrestling TV. Everything was placed perfectly to be what a one hour studio show should be. It flew by, had matches that either advanced stories or were showcases against "job" guys, backstage stuff that made sense, recaps of the last big show, a special highlight peice about someone, and a good main event between the Champ and a lower rung guy who was stepping up against the bad guy. And then ends with another teaser for the big fight we want to see. It felt very Memphisy/ Mid South. Oh and I'm digging Joe's music. It's fucking funky.
  15. Well, that's true.
  16. The set up match vs Slaughter that leads to the Alley fight is a fucking amazing performance from both guys. The match was intended to be a set up and they both play their roles in that performance style so fucking well. It's great when we look at the big blow off matches in programs , but the art of properly doing the set up match is just as important. And that one was fucking perfect.
  17. I was at a JAPW show that had a Jay Lethal vs Azreiel ladder match that I remember loving.
  18. Well, I can't comment until I see the show on Hulu tomorrow, but over at DVDVR all the right people who are shitting on it tells me it was probably a good show.
  19. Thank you. Best Game Show Ever is still Match Game, but thanks nonetheless.
  20. Is that any different than complaining about the direction your favorite fiction based TV show is going? Not really since people stop watching TV shows when they start not liking them. The exception used to be daytime soaps, which pretty much were the same thing as pro wrestling.
  21. The Awesome a Twosome, The Real R n R, Ravishing and Raging....Rick Rude and Manny Fernandez.
  22. I mean, obviously they couldn't say "peice of shit" but "crap" is right there.
  23. Was there ever a worse insult in wrestling than Hardy calling Edge a peice of feces? Who says that?
  24. The look of a Valentine elbow smash is far more "upped actiony" than A Bulldog doing something quickly. It's all such a weird discussion. Valentine had been a WWF guy and a Crockett guy. Snuka was a Georgia guy as well as Orndorff. The Calgary guys were three dudes plus Neidhart who had been in Mid South. There's no real clear distinctions.
