I don't think of it as a "step backwards", it's a return to a fued that should never totally die. These guys should always carry a vibe that every so often, they are at odds. Shit, the whole angle is based on Bray's professional jealousy of Reigns. It only makes sense that it spread to Harper and Ambrose. Ambrose has stayed friends with Roman, had his own fued with Bray, Bray just explained that it was time for Harper to back to the fold...it's all good shit. And Reigns is on his "redemption tour" this year. Time to move from singles dudes to a big team up angle.

I'm all for a new version of Shield vs. Wyatts. Those matches ruled. And I was struggling to think of a reason Sting would have been involved in the first place. Of course, they could be working everyone and they'll do some kind of deal where a new Wyatt appears during the match and Sting appears to even the odds, being an agent of justice and all that. They still advertised that Sting is going to be at some appearance that weekend.

I appreciate Stardust's attempt at the super villain character, and throwing in a Dusty line rules, but he sounded like Dr. Frank N Furter.

As far as the RAW match goes, saying Ambrose wasn't selling is fucking stupid. He was doing the old "I won't stay down, or give up despite how hurt I am," deal to show that just won't give up, and he was totally selling being hurt the entire time he was doing it.

I think Murdoch doing comedy makes him even more of a "one of the best ever". It showed that he was a diverse entertainer who could play lots of different roles. If a guy he was in the ring with couldn't adapt to Murdoch deciding to play comedy, that's on them not being able to adapt and not being a consummate performer. It's not a knock on Murdoch, unless a certain match was booked deliberately to be serious and he decided to not follow the script. Even then, a fellow great wrestler would have played along to make sure the performance/ match still flowed.

The entire build up to Magnum vs Tully in the cage "I Quit" was awesome. It all started in the summer when Dusty beat Tully at the Bash and won Baby Doll and slowly built and took shape over the course of nearly half a year.

The Mexicools original gimmick of throwing racist stereotypes back in the faces of the audience was similar to the original Hasaan gimmick about Arab Americans being treated poorly. It was stuff I loved but was just "too smart for the room".
