Mixed into his using an Internet meme and saying that, is both "buy my shit" and "A guy there wants to do something with me that will fix things and be great but THE MAN won't do it." It's self promoting and the same thing he went on about in that third book about his "amazing" angle with Funk and Melina that got "ruined". Co-opting "net nerd rage" with self promoting and ending with "buy my socks"? Ray Charles can see what that is really about and he's blind AND dead. And I love Foley, carnies gonna carny...and I wouldn't want it any other way.

It's not always an indictment or sign of mysoginistic attitude if someone says they don't like women's wrestling. It can be just not digging it. I never liked it until recently, now that the storylines and performers are something I dig.

They never even showed SMW on 24/7, just a clip here and there. Groovy.

Yeah, I'm thinking this whole "Everyone had to mention Dusty" thing is yet another over exaggerated thing based on lore and not reality. All those TBS Saturday Nights from the time are now on the Network, someone (Parv) needs to go through all of them to prove me right.

I think they probably respect someone who asks to go because he knows it isn't working out right now more than someone who they have to make the decision to cut.

These are the TBS Saturday night shows. It's mainly job guys getting squashed, with occasional "good" matches. The promos are the best parts. Don't get me wrong, I fucking love these, but don't go in expecting "top to bottom classic shows."

I'm as far left and liberal as anyone here, man. But at the same time I can look at stuff in wrestling that was and is amazingly fucking stupid and racist and laugh at it, have fun with it, and not get all worked up about it. I can watch old Tom and Jerry cartoons and enjoy them despite Mammy Two Shoes. Being a lefty doesn't mean you have to constantly be offended.
