  1. Yea the second match
  2. It's on VOD on Twitch
  3. Tryout trios on preshow was as good of a spotfest as I've seen in years

  5. https://youtu.be/MPo3ctyovCM I don't believe this has been out in the wild yet
  6. My Eulogy: TNA. Go fuck yourself. You didn't deserve to last longer than WCW. Rest in peace
  7. I dropped a month ago when the uploads slowed and the matches that were being put up weren't interesting to me. A shame because there are still a lot of interesting matches, including some more MX from 1984, Santo Sr. matches, etc.
  8. One of my favorite matches of all time.
  9. So there is a show on the Observer site that reviews 98 Raws, but nothing that reviews lucha or EVOLVE or other indies? Is EVOLVE not being covered really that egregious? Meltzer historically has always had long periods where he misses covering something (lucha 98-03; Shooto in 99-05) EVOLVE is super niche especially since they don't draw. I get PWG being covered since he sees them live and they actually get people to their shows
  10. A lot of matches with Tommy Young. Individually: 3/30/02 ROH Ki vs Danielson (Ken Shamrock) Any lucha referee that does a jump and waves hands in the air to signal a submission to end a fall.
  11. This is an all time classic, even with the blown spot. In fact, that speaks to its greatness as the blown spot didn't end up blurring my vision of the entire match itself.
  12. Watching this again tomorrow. Last time it came off as the least of their three RINGS matches. Also think the worked theories are interesting but will elaborate more tomorrow.
  13. Taka post 2000 isn't the same as his 1993-2000 self, but is still very interesting. I know TomK really liked the 2/22/04 AJPW match against fellow KDX member Kaz Hayashi. I think 2001-2005 is probably a period where there isn't much online, especially as we all made the switchover to DVD from 2004-2006.

  15. I'm pretty sure there isn't a better into the ring spring boarder. Add those to his springboard dives to the outside and you have an amazingly fun wrestler.
  16. I think the spreadsheet is protection locked
  17. Be interested in hearing about the specific flaws
  18. I don't have this at ***** but this is a tremendous match. May be my favorite Flair/Steamboat that isn't Chi Town Rumble

  20. These all fall under great promos: Midnight Express promo on Tully/Arn (August 88 - WTBS Studio in response to being jumped in locker room) Midnight Express promo on OMX (11/12/88 - WTBS Studio in response to being jumped the week before in WTBS studio) Flair returns to WCW (09/14/98 - Nitro) Bret Hart returns to Canada (03/29/99 - Nitro)

  22. All of the Midnight Express matches are great. 4/6/84 Mr. Wrestling II vs. Magnum is fantastic Tully vs El Bracero is as fun of a squash as there is
  23. I like the Chigusa vs. Devil Masami match better but Asuka vs. Jaguar is still really good. The lucha arm drag spot is state of the art for the time and they do everything well. But the Chigusa match has that extra edge in terms of heat and storytelling that makes it the better match in my eyes.
  24. Really liked this. And then they execute that finish in 1979 and it's like holy fuck, that may actually be a legit MOTYC.
