  2. Usos-Alpha could be some awesome matches. Here's hoping SD picks them.
  3. They still have to draft some more from NXT before it's over though.
  4. Well if she's really Sasha's surprise partner there was no need to draft her tonight I guess. Network When? right after SD!? They've had a draft special airing all night, interviewing the draftees.
  5. Network
  6. Now I'm really confused who is gonna feud with Becky. Or AA. Soooo many picks left... But no big name tag teams or women unless it's Natalya. And I'd think if Bayley, Nak, or Joe were going, they'd have already. So who will be the remaining 3 SD picks then?
  7. Nia Jax picked over Bayley or Asuka is insanity. Heck over Paige, Emma or Natalya too.
  8. Now I'm really confused who is gonna feud with Becky. Or AA. Soooo many picks left...
  9. SD better roster than Raw at this moment.
  10. Not Raw's fault that SD is avoiding all tag teams. Hopefully they take Alpha, Vaudvillians and Club to balance things out a bit.
  11. Corbin and Miz over Cesaro or Bayley. What morons.
  12. Losing Sasha stinks, but Becky is a good centerpiece. Jericho is on Raw, so it helps a lot. I couldn't handle Orton and Jericho on SD.
  13. Ambrose was their first pick.... Right. But 3 of their top 4 are getting up there. Quality guys, but they're gonna need some serious youth. I predict Sasha and Zayn are their two next picks.
  14. Ambrose was their first pick....
  15. So far SD is picking the people I want to see and Raw is picking who I don't want to see. I can live without New Day. Orton is the only real mistake so far. It's going well so far though. SD needs Cesaro, Sasha, Zayn and Bayley soon though.
  16. Appealing to USA and appealing to me sound like different things. Keep Randy Orton away please.
  17. and.. 5 picks in and my wishes are coming true.
  18. I hope most of the guys I care about end up on SD, while the ones I don't end up on Raw. Is that too selfish?
  19. For some reason I thought Shane/Steph were being put in the roles they got, so they wouldn't be on TV weekly. The GM would be doing that, while they would show up less frequently.
  20. So... Stephanie announces someone like Regal or Bryan as the GM of Raw, then Shane announces Triple H as GM of SD. For some reason I really feel Triple H will be the GM of SD or am I way off here?
  21. He was doing really well, until he decided to do UFC again.
  22. Looked at the brackets and it's in the first round! I am so excited!
  23. Excerpts from the Pro Wrestling Observer by David Keller from May 5, 2001 Two days away from WCW's return at the Clash of the Champions, live on the USA Network on Monday, May 7, 2001. It will air live head to head against WWF Raw. Here is a preview: Booker T & Rey Mysterio Jr. vs The Great Muta & Lance Storm (in a preview of the World Cup) * This should be the main event to set up the World Cup. The top four teams are featured here and Rey and Booker, could make a great team. Rey can be the face in peril and Booker is quite the hot tag. Not sure who will win this, but maybe Booker gets pinned leading to a future title match for either Storm or Muta. Jeff Jarrett vs Dustin Rhodes vs La Parka vs Rob Van Dam (in an elimination match for the vacant WCW US Title) * RVD is the heavy favourite here, as he is supposed to be one of the stars WCW is trying to build upon. Since it's an elimination match, expect a feud to be set up between two of the other three. It's interesting to see La Parka in here and how he is treated. Terry Funk celebration ceremony * Probably an angle. Rumours of Steve Corino or Jerry Lawler showing up to start something going forward. Dustin Rhodes is another option. El Samurai & Jushin Liger vs Elix Skipper & Kid Romeo * Samurai and Liger are signed for the Great American Bash, so this should build to a rematch there. Probably with one of the teams titles (or both) on the line. Shane Helms vs Shannon Moore (for the Cruiserweight Title) * Helms will win this to help establish himself. Not sure if Helms is a long term champion, as WCW has signed a lot of Cruiserweights to come in like AJ Styles, Dick Togo, and Christopher Daniels. Don Frye vs Norman Smiley * A squash to get Frye over. Goldberg is set to be at ringside to start their program. Kaz Hayashi, Ikuto Hidaka, & Psicosis vs Dick Togo, Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Christopher Daniels * This should be an exciting high flying match to help re-establish the Cruiserweight Division. Ray Gonzalez vs Disco Inferno * A cool down match where Gonzalez should pick up the win. He could be a solid hand on the under card.
  24. Excerpts from the Pro Wrestling Observer by David Keller from April 28, 2001 A little over a week until WCW's return and everything seems to be set. The card is ready and looks like an interesting one, setting things in motion for their return to pay-per-view with The Great American Bash on June 10th. That should revolve around Goldberg-Frye and the finals of the World Cup. The only other news coming out of this week is that Stevie Ray has been signed on as a colour commentator. He will probably work Power Hour.
  25. Just heard a story from a former WWE writer who was watching Richard Pryor. Vince walked by and asked what he was watching. When informed it was a comedy show, Vince asked him why he just didn't watch WrestleMania instead? You see, you can get sports, comedy, drama, and everything else in wrestling, so watch anything else?
