PCO is in great condition for his age but Brock is still in good shape and acting like the UFC heavyweight division is a field of adonis marathon men is absurd. Look at a hot prospect like N'Gannou who gassed out in 1 round and guys like Derek Lewis and Mark Hunt and you can see Heavyweight has and always will be a thin division as it hard to find great fighters who can go hard for 3 to 5 rounds weighing 240+. Brock could easily go through a training camp and provided he doesn't suffer any serious injury beat majority of the currently ranked top 10 of todays UFC HW division. Most of the top 10 are as old as him and in the same or even worse physical shape. I'm all for expressing dislikes about Brock but saying stuff like this is really reaching, Brock at near 41 is still a better athlete than most guys half his age at his size. Brock was spent after 2 minutes of a worked match, so much that he could not get up Roman for a worked suplex (might be Roman's fault too, obviously). In the last half year Brock looked to be close to a heart attack in all of his matches (except the Kane one at MSG). I am not saying that he could not get in decent shape, but I am not sure if he has the will to train anymore. And obviously my initial posting was hyperbole.

I'm pretty sure we'll get a few more. I feel like Almas/Vega still need to let Gargano get his win back, and probably put over Black again, but they may still come up. Sanity's another possibility, and maybe the Iconic Duo. That's just idle speculation though. I would assume that The Iconic Duo is a lock. I could also see them fast-tracking Bianca Belair (though 6-12 more months in Florida, including working longer matches would definitely help her). Regarding the Ember Moon discussion: I have two problems with her, (1) the mentioned cosplay thing, (2) I feel that she is one of the wrestlers who look good in NXT because the TV / PPV matches are so extensively produced, that probably they train them spot-by-spot in the ring beforehand. If something unexpected happens in the ring or the match is not that deeply produced (which will be the case on the main roster), she will (and did sometimes in NXT) look lost. There is a reason why someone like Bayley looks much worse on the main roster than she did in NXT, and it's not just booking / loss of confidence.

I have to agree in principle, there is no one on the roster that could have really benefited by beating Asuka in a straight match (similar to someone breaking the Taker streak at a certain point). Though the setup was perfect to get huge heat on Carmella by cashing in on her. Whenever she will cash in, it will lead to a far smaller reaction and heat than it would have been against Asuka at Mania.

At least the show was unpredictable. I tried to guess the winners beforehand and only got three of them right (the two tag team title matches and the mixed tag team match). Sure there were a couple of more matches that you could have gotten right if you used your brain more than me (or followed WWE more closely), but there were a lot of surprise winners tonight. Not the best thing in all cases, of course... So, caffeine and sugar are wearing off, time to get some sleep.

The first third had the IC and US title matches. Maybe those matches overperformed, but there is no chance that the first third was great.

So how many guys were on the card that should never have been cleared if the LA AC took its job serious? 4? (I am thinking of Angle, Shane, Nicholas and Brock) Whoever was the agent of the main event should be fired, that match would have died a horrible death even in an arena setting at a "normal" 4 h (incl. pre-show) PPV. Serious question, are pro-wrestling events still under state commission authorities these days? In Louisiana they are. Before the weekend they tried to put the hammer on the smaller (i.e. non-WWE and non-ROH) shows by banning stuff like the piledriver. At the Joey Janella show they made fun of that by having a wrestler hit a piledriver on "the Invisible Man" (it is what you expect by that name) and getting DQed and thrown out the building for that.

I hope so, otherwise this was one of the weirdest things I have ever seen.
