And using him, alongside four or five other old guys on top, gets you the 1983 AWA roster. Which was one of the jokes I used before. That said, I'm looking forward to seeing the WWF shows too. I want to see Parv prove me wrong.

Also, Parv, part of why we were making fun a round or two ago is that we never expected you to actually keep picking old guys. It started as sort of an affectation where we could see you going for Brisco since he's one of your guys and you've seen so much footage, but then it came coming and coming. To the point we kept expecting someone completely different so the more of the same started to seem like a routine. We never actually expected you to pick Ole or Jerry Brisco, let alone Lars. We thought you had that old veteran role tied up, and you kept going back to the well.

To be fair, the Briscos had that great match in NYC with Murdoch/Adonis in 84. And the crowd was absurdly hot for that. Especially the finish. I think that it was easier for them to connect to Murdoch/Adonis than it would be to Ole/Lars.
