Polka dot ladder!!

Rob Feinstein being shown was my Wrestlemania moment.
-
I wonder who won't get a Wrestlemania Moment. "The guy selling hot dogs just got his Wrestlemania Moment!"
-
That Women's Title rules
-
Kalisto vs Ryback Fun little opener with some nice spots based all around the size difference. It seems like "Wrestlemania Moment!" is going to be said after everything again.

In the middle of watching this but I loved Zayn/Nakamura and, in particular, the escalation of violence after Nakamura got his nose bloodied. Him tasting his blood and then just kicking Zayn straight in the head was the kind of shit I love him for. Zayn is such a great babyface, I hope he can somehow get a top run on the main roster.

Just turned my ballot in. I bet if I looked back at it in the morning, I'd move everything around but I'm going purely off gut instinct with where I'd rank guys with the last 5/10 being a smattering of personal favourites to round the numbers out. Might crack a Tag ballot off in the same way.

I'm starting to wonder if I'll be the high vote on Eddie Guerrero
-
The only thing stopping Santino Marella being on mine is that he wasn't nominated. I love that little dude
-
I'll spend tonight throwing together a somewhat instinctual list and see where I end up. Some definite lucha gaps but I may help the WoS guys gain some traction. I'm really just excited for the WKO 100 style run-out

Reigns is running into the same problem Cena did in that nobody is actually prepared to be a heel against him. During Cena's 05-07, the only guy who was willing to be a heel opposite him was Edge and both guys were made for life. The likes of Angle, HHH and Michaels refused to even work as a subtle heel opposite the next big guy to make sure people sided with them. Reigns is discovering this first hand with HHH but, at least when he wins the title, he's going to be positioned against workers who aren't so insensitive and paranoid. Being the babyface champ against quality heels i.e. Miz and Jericho might see people forget about being cool and start cheering him.

I'm willing to give Dave some credit and chalk this talk of Shane trying to usurp Vince as a work
-
Wasn't Shane behind that crazy idea of worldwide WWE "territories"? There was an idea to have a North American branch, a European branch, a Mexican branch etc etc. I'm sure I remember WON letters at the time (07-08) saying that was his brainchild. Seems like a fucking crazy thing to suggest if you weren't thinking of steering a company in your direction in some fashion.

Yeah, I'm 100% with this. Miz delivers that promo against Styles and the place is fucking rioting. I see Miz as a guy who should transition to a manager so this is the perfect chance for Miz' Army going against Styles

I could see an Arrested Development style farce set around a wrestling company.
-
Not related to TV but they are so many parts of this one image that baffle me.
-
The 'Next Rey' is actually Dustin Rhodes. Incredible heat segments are where it's at!
-
To me it was part genuine surprise, and also the result of not being on TV for nearly 7 years. He's a reminder to a lot of people of a time when wrestling was fun. This is exactly what it is, I got a text from a friend who has tuned out since 2005 or so and he loved the fact that Shane was back. It's nostalgia booking but I can see how that might work in this case

I do like how "Political Hit" has gotten over more than just about any other WWE buzzword/catchphrase has in years. Dylan is a born worker.
-
I read that Shane had returned to battle The Undertaker for control of Monday Night Raw or whatever it is and, because it was 5.30 in the morning, assumed my sleep deprived mind had just read the words wrong. Huh.

My guess is they do give it to HHH and make it come across as sycophantic and stomach-churning as possible to attempt to shift some heat to HHH. Though I imagine he's too savvy for that.
-
Is Liger available to work it?
-
I wouldn't mind seeing Ziggler have a brief run in NXT. I bet he'd be over huge down there and it could well rehabilitate him before being brought back up. That would all depend on the idea that the company actually wants to build anyone up though.

Reigns is great and when you remove him from the bullshit surrounding him, he's capable of putting on awesome matches and connecting with the crowd. You make him look like an idiot, a weakling and have him be eliminated CLEANLY by the evil Authority and yeah, nobody is going to give a shit. Once again, we're told that HHH is the only guy that matters so of course he's going to look like a star.
