That was cheesy as hell, but it was part of wrestling's charm. A thing that is lost today. Who the fuck came out with this idea though ? Windham was pretty out of shape, and he really didn't do anything worthwhile before getting into Blackjack mode. Yeah, I'm the only person who loved the New Blackjacks...

Barry said it was his. Or I think they came up with it together. The Blackjacks was a punishment for slowly changing the gimmick.

When these 1st aired I thought for sure his 1st big program was going to be with The Wildman Marc Mero. I was wrong.

"The Stalker..." Half-Skinner, half-Mike-Boyette-in-Memphis-as-Apocalypse. This is better than most gimmicks to have debuted in 1994 and '95 but still far from a good use of Windham.

Awful stuff and really feels like the last holdover to some degree for the cheesy characters of the 90's before the harder edged ones started to filter in (Val Venis).

Lame. This is actually well produced but this gimmick is even more silly considering the shift of the WWF product at the time. I realize that statement might sound absurd after this followed a Taker segment, but Taker had earned good will with the audience for over 5 years by this point & was consistently evolving his character to match with the times.

This seems like a return to the really bad gimmicks that WWE guys were using from the early 90s involving outside of wrestling jobs.
