PDRMatt
Call me crazy, but doesn't Renee not wearing high heels make the men she's supposed to be interviewing and where all the focus is supposed to be going stand out more? If WWE is still a "big man territory" so to speak, shouldnt little stuff matter like that to the powers that be? If Daniel Bryan (for example) no longer came up to Renee's eyeline, that should be seen to them as a good thing, right? Seems like this is something WWE would encourage. The Chief
don't think this has been mentioned but another female fan was ejected at the SD tapings on Tuesday for hopping the barricade to go after Reigns. I know this isn't quite kerry Von Erich at the Sportatorium in 1984 but I don't ever recall this happening in the WWE this much Where were the other instances? It's definitely something they used to care about. That seemed to change in 2000-2001 when Stephanie started wearing high heels and towering over babyfaces every week. SomethingSavage
Unhinged Alicia has been tremendous, but I feel like they're missing the boat by not reverting R-Truth back into the "crazy, cranky black man" character of 2011. The persona left a truckload of potential & money on the table. And, even if they never shoot for a pairing with the two, it would at least freshen him up to the point of it actually making sense that he survived the recent roster cuts. They could even mix the whole Sydal "snitch" thing into the formula. Truth walking around, all bug-eyed and mumbling to himself about dang SNITCHES GON' GET GOT. It writes itself. And creative could probably use the help. He's reportedly got another rap album in the works. So it's possible they'll do SOMETHING with him. Might as well go back to something that works. sek69
Do you guys think there's a dude from WWE creative who's all "And then Kane comes down and chokeslams them!" over and over to the point that the other writers are like, "Fine! Whatever. Just shut up about it!"? Yeah, and it's probably Vince.
The Man in Blak
Just to follow-up my post from earlier: Rybaxel got another interview segment for Superstars and Ryback referred to Goldust/Stardust as "painted-up freaks" this time, so maybe there were some conversations about that. Then again, they replayed virtually all of the Main Event interview before the rematch with R-Truth and Xavier Woods, so one step forward, one step back, I guess. Hearing that R-Truth has a new album coming out makes sense now, as both of the matches with Rybaxel have been laid out to shine him back up a bit. The return match on Superstars was considerably better too - crisp flying somersault senton from Xavier Woods to the outside, smarter tag work from Rybaxel. Rybaxel wins it, giving them some momentum against Goldust/Stardust for the PPV, I guess.
The Chief
Gotta say I've been digging Seth Rollins' new theme music. Probably the most metal thing they've ever put together. Breath of fresh air from all the Randy Orton pussy garbage they've been using.
Strummer
the segment tonight with Hunter, Orton and Rollins was quite good. Better than any segment with Evolution 2.0. Maybe I'm in the minority but Rollins has been just fine on the mic. Hunter seems rejuvenated working with this kid. Orton also
DR Ackermann
Does anyone know why Sheamus might be in Tulsa, OK right now? A friend just sent me a picture of him at a bar downtown.
Strummer
so there are rumblings that Orton might win the belt tomorrow because they have spoiled Cena v Brock. Orton then drops the belt at Battleground to Cena in a triple threat with Reigns. Putting the belt on Orton again after his half assed reign earlier in the year would be a disaster even for a month. I hope they just stay course this instance and have Cena win
Coffey
At this point, I'll take ANYTHING new. Even fucking Santino: World Champion. I don't care, just not Cena or Orton again.
Strummer
it's funny with all the complaining late last year and the first few months of this year here we are with Cena and Orton on top again. This time it's understandable but still no less frustrating
Mini Bennett
I'm actually cool with Cena-Lesnar II under the circumstances. The last time was like two years ago and they fucking rocked it then. It's not exactly a match that's been run into the ground like Cena-Orton. Sidebottom
I'd be VERY happy with Brock vs Cena again. There was no Heyman last time round either for a different dynamic.
sek69
What's odd is the spoiler in this case isn't the usual "local spots running early" deal, but them shilling pre orders for the SummerSlam DVD on Amazon with a Cena/Brock cover. I would almost hope they did that on purpose in some kind of worked swerve since that's a pretty WCW level screw up otherwise.
KrisZ
You don't want Reigns to win tonight then job to Lesnar in 2 months....Cena on the other hand owes Brock a win
Loss
Agreed that Cena is the best guy to win just because it's the most compelling match against Brock and he'll be the least hurt by dropping the title so quickly.

Jmare007
Does going for The Streak and Cena's title in the 2 biggest shows of the year, in back-to-back appearances, make Brock the biggest underdog ever?
Fantastic
Does going for The Streak and Cena's title in the 2 biggest shows of the year, in back-to-back appearances, make Brock the biggest underdog ever? Not quite, but it creates the assumption that he's losing. Of course, this assumption was subverted when Brock ended the streak. I'm 50/50 about Summerslam. Something needs to be done to send the fans home happy, especially now that Brock's quite possibly the most hated man in WWE because he ended the streak. On one hand, you have to factor that Brock winning the title adds more of a threat and long term mileage to his beast character. He avenges his initial loss to Cena and takes his title in the process. Brock will then presumably have one or two title defences, the latter of which will result in Brock's intended Wrestlemania opponent costing him the title, allowing Brock to preserve his aura of invincibility whilst giving him the excuse to walk out the door till mania. On the other hand, in this "network era", WWE either likes to send fans home happy, or screw them over with a wildcard at big four PPV's. Summerslam is a tricky one, last year we got Daniel Bryan's WWE title victory. The year before, Brock made Triple H tap out (the crowd were enjoying chanting "you tapped out"), the year before that we had CM Punk retaining his title in oddball fashion against fake champion John Cena before Kevin Nash came out and set up the necessary conditions for Alberto Del Rio to cash in. The year before that, Cena ran through Nexus. What I'd like to think is that WWE is going to pull the trigger on a Cesaro face turn. Lets say Cesaro takes it upon himself to try and get a shot at Brock's WWE Championship, but ultimately isn't successful. Heyman is furious at Cesaro having the gall to do that, Cesaro doesn't care. So during the Raw where Brock and his PPV opponent come out to have a confrontation, we have Brock, Heyman and the Heyman guys all in the ring. Heyman cuts a promo on how all challengers are destroyed, or something to that effect. Brock and Rybaxel then absolutely destroys Cesaro, with Brock getting the exclamation point. Cesaro stays off TV for a week or so to sell the beating and returns at the PPV where he costs Lesnar the title. We then get Lesnar vs Cesaro in a grudge match at Wrestlemania. Bierschwale
I'm just muttering in the dark "only one more RAW before Zayn debuts, only one more RAW before Zayn debuts", even though there's nothing that has said that he'll debut in Montreal. It just SEEMS obvious to me-- hometown show of course, he's done the dark matches, has been a fixture on the international tours, just doesn't have much more to do in NXT because he won't be the one to take the title off of Neville, and he'd be the first catalyst to the Cesaro face turn, plus if he was directly introduced with Cesaro, as a prospective "Paul Heyman Guy", it would add some of the desperately needed ambiguity to Heyman before Brock's return when he'll go back into ultra-heel mode. Jmare007
Considering how great Amborse/Rollins is shaping up to be and how they've still been patient with Reigns. Do we have a clue who is behind those 3 guys? They've been booked as close to perfection for almost 2 years in a company that can't book for shit a 1 month program. I guess the logical answer is Triple H, and I really hope he is, but he's been in charge of creative for a while now and creative still has the same problems as always. I know his title is executive VP of talent and creative or something, but everyone knows Vince is the one who's really in charge of creative. HHH probably gets control over a few pet projects like The Shield, but you can't put the whole direction of the company on HHH.
