I love Saturday Night's Main Event show openings! That's why they are all here.

Always love Vince hyping the show at the beginning. Music is pretty nifty to as SNME was something of the past as far as big significance by the time I can remember.

Ventura and McMahon are an amazing double act.

 

Vince was also the ultimate hype man.

 

This stuff is my bread and butter.

 

I quite want to watch Bravo vs. Garvin, out of curiosity.

Nicely done opening that makes me want to watch the entire show. Ventura is wearing some wild looking sunglasses here.

Gotta echo what Parv, soup, Kevin Ridge and others said here. Vince did a great job putting over the card.

These are the openings I remember, although I like the ones with the little mini-promos best. WWE still misses Jesse twenty-four years later; no one has effectively taken his place. It misses Vince the announcer too, come to think of it; he's not nearly as effective feeding the lines to his lackeys as he was (and probably still would be) at delivering them himself.

I've said this before, but it really speaks to the marketing and production of WWF that every show feels so instantly warm and welcoming and nostalgic, even to someone like me who has seen very little of this era. Their aesthetic has always been so strong. Vince does gutteral hype vocals better than any frontman I've ever seen.

It's Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior together as a team on Saturday Night's Main Event for the first time against Mr Perfect and The Genius! Stacked show as the other matches are Randy Savage vs Jim Duggan, Rick Rude vs Dusty Rhodes, Jake Roberts vs Greg Valentine and Dino Bravo vs Ron Garvin. No syrup for Jesse, but he knows that the Warrior and Hogan are not going to get along because everyone saw them go head to head at the Royal Rumble.

 

Not much to add to this, but yeah, want to watch the full show after that opening segment.

Have to echo the love for Vince as a hype man. I strangely want to see this show despite knowing better.

Some fantastic 80s theme music, a fantastic hype duo in Vince and Jesse and that's all it takes. Jesse really is great and running with the set ups Vince gives him.

SNME intros are the best of their kind. Vince really should announce for a year or so to close out his on screen career.

A great intro. This show looks good on paper and Ventura and McMahon hyping it up makes it look great.
