Cross Face Chicken Wing
Does anybody know if Wrestlemania will be available on the Network immediately after it concludes on Sunday? Or will they show it live, then pull it off to boost DVD sales? Also, anyone know if we are able to watch from the beginning if we tune in late? ANYTHING THAT AIRS ON THE NETWORK WILL BE AVAILABLE ON DEMAND ON THE NETWORK AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. This question has been asked and answered everywhere for weeks. So, what you're saying is, I can watch Wrestlemania immediately after it airs live? More or less, yes. How long has it taken for past live shows to show up? That long. I'm just messing with ya. YOUR ANSWER IN ALL CAPS AND THE SIGH OF DISDAIN THAT FOLLOWED CALLED FOR AN UNNECESSARY FOLLOW UP JUST BECAUSE.

This is far from a given IMO. The NXT PPV was not available on-demand until the next day. Yes, there was a replay shown on the "Schedule" an hour or two later, but you had to watch that "live" as it "aired" - there was no way to fast-forward or rewind it. SteveJRogers
I'd assume the same day that the DVD of the PPV event gets released as that has been the way it was for Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber. Stuff that is meant to be exclusive to the Network, yes, as soon as it airs it goes into the On Demand library.

Bix's answer is still technically correct. I'm sure it will be up as soon as humanly possible. But when that human is Vince McMahon, you never know when that might be. They were regular PPVs under the old contract with the standard 30 day window.

Hollinger.
Still having issues with missing years for Old School and Legends of Wrestling sections on Apple TV. Wish there was a way to refresh apps on there.

Wish there was a way to refresh apps on there. think it's a universal problem for all streaming devices when it comes to watching it on the tv. It's the same problem for the Roku. I thought they'd have these glitches fixed by now , 5 days out from Wrestlemania. They added time stamps for the HHH and Mick Foley DVD's why not for the houseshows and Legends of Wrestling? BillThompson
This is for Bix. I listened to you on the Good Will Wrestling ep about the Network today. While I wouldn't say you were pessimistic about the Network, you did mention a few times that you weren't all that optimistic about the Network bringing in big numbers. I know they haven't released the numbers yet, but are you still less than optimistic, or has your view changed at all since the launch? I know they haven't released the numbers yet, but are you still less than optimistic, or has your view changed at all since the launch? I got progressively more optimistic with both the announcement and the launch. When you throw in factors like the rumors about how surprisingly well UFC is doing with Fight Pass, I'd say the latest Meltzer guess (that there's pretty much no way they'll be under 750K, and 850K is a more likely low end) sounds right to me. Anywhere from 850K to 1.25 million would not surprise me at all.

Migs
They just dropped a bunch of ECW TV, through the end of '94. I believe this is all (or close to it) of what aired on 24/7.
cowboy hats
(i) small sample size of only a few minutes of use; (ii) the live feed looked to be a little choppy (i had it on mute); and (iii) the expectations floor was set incredibly low, but...the xbox 360 app is sooooooo much better thanks to the update

Sounds like Monday will be a pretty big day.

With HHH their is a lot of changing up of history to get to the happy story.. In his beyond the Ring their is no mention of his dating Chyna, They just skipped to his courtship of Stephanie. pantherwagner
Is it just me or it's really hard to get through the 1982 episodes of World Class? Maybe I have watched the wrong ones. Hard to digest most of the stuff but I'm a fan of Kerry (except when he's talking) and The Checkmate from The Isle of Man. I'm really looking forward to any other 80s (or before) episodic TV being put on the network. Watching Old School shows isn't the same. Right now 1993 RAW is what I'm enjoying the most. The episodes are easy to watch (even with Rob Barlett on commentary) and you get decent matches from time to time.
goc
I love Checkmate. It's a gimmick that would NOT work today because fans would just want you to kick the guy in the stomach when he turtles up, but in the age when WCCW fans would actively discourage the babyfaces from cheating it was good stuff. David
Warning from Dave in today's daily update about the WrestleMania live stream: To give you even more confidence, MLB.TV has had all sorts of problems this week, with the entire system down off and on the past few days and problems on a number of devices when it has been up. And even more, since MLBAM is doing the technical work for the WWE Network, it was noted in a Deadspin article that several former MLB.tv employees are now working in the umpire's replay wing, which may have something to do with a lack of resources toward fixing the streaming issues.
