goc Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 Well I guess we won't see Bryan vs BNB when Bryan gets back. That was a decent little match, that german suplex by Neville was pretty impressive. Neville is obviously very talented but he seems really devoid of personality.
goodhelmet Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 Neville vs. Barrett - That was fun. Good TV match.
goc Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 I want an hour of Kane answering twitter questions.
WingedEagle Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 Solid match that did a better job making Neville seem like a player than he has on Raw thus far.
Bierschwale Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 Was that the first win for Neville on the main roster? Â He took out Axel a few times, one the SD immediately after the Rollins match because they don't have an actual plan.
hammerva Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 I want an hour of Kane answering twitter questions. Â "Are u still relevant?"
Exposer Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 Barrett vs. Neville - Pretty good match. Glad Neville got the win.
Parties Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 So goofy watching this WWE approximation of sports broadcasting after UFC last night. Corny pregame panel notwithstanding, the finish to Neville-Barrett was very well done. Maybe not in the grand scheme of wrestling history, but in the grand scheme of Extreme Rules pre-shows. Â Barrett is a five-time IC champ. I just listened to the Wrestling Observer recap of Summerslam 2010. Amazing to think that Barrett was the leader of a bloodthirsty NXT heel faction about five years too early. Â That Kane segment was ridiculous, but I enjoy Tom Philips as the consummate pro tasked with bringing "We do apologize" order to absurdity.
goc Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Â I want an hour of Kane answering twitter questions. Â "Are u still relevant?" Â It was perfect, because they were like the 2 most typical smarky questions to ask him. "When are you bringing back the mask" and "Are you still relevant?" Actually I want to see a joint Q&A session with Kane & Big Show. Â Not usually in the "drool over Renee" club but she looks really great in yellow.
The Chief Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Good to see that at least the crowd is hot.
CodySave Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 So, they did announce the King in the Ring on Tuesday in that network programming promo, right? Now I'm worried I imagined the whole thing. Â EDIT: Seems to be lots of similarly confused on discussion about it, but it appears WWE did indeed announce a live King of the Ring tournament this Tuesday night.
Exposer Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Oh my God, they're going to do this match as an ongoing thing all night.
CodySave Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Ambrose seems like the kind of guy that would steal someone's Uber vehicle to follow Harper around Chicago.
goodhelmet Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper (Chicago Street Fight) - OK, fun beat em up with an Attitude era finish. I think they end up doing the Goldust-Piper throughout the show fighting stuff…. Or we don’t hear from them the rest of the show.
goc Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 So was Seth standing on a foot-stool for that backstage segment that made him taller than HHH and almost eye to eye with Kane?
goodhelmet Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Is that some weird tanning solution on Ziggler's shoulder?
hammerva Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Awesome knee by Sheamus on Dolph. That should be his finisher
goc Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 I like how Sheamus just flipped him end over end with that Cloverleaf instead of turning him over.
Matt D Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Dolph's side is beat to hell. I really liked that triple forearm, double splash, cut off by Sheamus sequence.
The Chief Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 That was unexpected! Pretty good much too, Sheamus works much better as a heel.
goodhelmet Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus (Kiss Me Arse Match) - I loved the way Dolph came out on fire. Shots looked pretty nice. I like the escape from the Cloverleaf into the nearfall. Wow, I thought they ended this way too soon with the flash pin. This was on track to becoming my favorite Ziggler singles match.
Matt D Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 I actually liked the flash pin a lot, because the suplex toss was such a cool looking move, and one that was so fitting of Sheamus' current heavyweight bully character, that I bought it ending on him going for it again, arrogantly, and paying for it. It was sort of refreshing to have a match end in something other than a bunch of finisher avoidance.
