El Boricua
The WWF have released Chief Thundercloud with immediate effect. He should be entered into the August draft. PS. If he goes underdrafted, I think he should probably retire. At the age of 63 he really has no place in the ring any more. This Chief Thundercloud is 49 years old. There is another guy who used the name who is 63, but this one is Juan Lopez.
Flyin' Brian
If it's my turn, I guess I'll take Johnny Valiant and reunite the Valiant Brothers. Didn't think I'd get a pick this month, much less one I can really use.
El Boricua
The active order is: JerryVonKramer LowBlowPodcast El Boricua Flyin Brian
JerryvonKramer
Flucking hell, he's not even the "real" one? Lol
El Boricua
Flucking hell, he's not even the "real" one? Lol This Thundercloud even has a son that wrestles named Chuy. By the way, are you going to pick someone else Parv or will you pass?
JerryvonKramer
No I pass. I thought the 63 year old thundercloud was the one who had the son. They aren't the same guy? Amazing carny world. I spent at least thirty mins reading around, never occurred to me there were two of them.
LowBlowPodcast
I will gladly take Von hess to team up with the Baron
El Boricua
WWC will select Dusty Wolfe. Its Flyin Brian's turn to pick or pass.
KrisZ
I had forgot to put Buddy Moreno aka Omar Atlas in this list so he is draftable if anyone wants him
goc
I feel like he should be added for next month because I wouldn't have passed this month if he had been there.
KrisZ
Okay fair enough
goc
I mean I'll take him now and move back to the end of the draft order for next month if everyone is ok with that but I expect there will be a fuss.
Flyin' Brian
As tempting as it is to take Mark Savage just because of the name, I'm going to pass.
LowBlowPodcast
I will pass as well. I am happy with what I got out of here.
Grimmas
I'm just hoping I can take Butch Miller and make him part of my Cuban team.
goc
Beast can you edit Omar Atlas into the September list so he doesn't get forgotten?
El Boricua
If anybody has any other wrestler or manager who is not listed and they think should be eligible during the next few months, go ahead and ask just in case. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to make another selection. There really is almost no information on Mark Savage, so i really have no idea about him. Bull Brannigan seems to drop of the map after 1983.
JerryvonKramer
Could guys who are completely undrafted and unwanted work in my new NWF Developmental: http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/31564-nwf-developmental/ This is just to keep them active at least once a week and stop them falling off a cliff. We should think about what happens to those who fall between the cracks. NWF Developmental is "outside" of my WWF Universe, it's just a thing to keep guys busy. Beast
Either the Alabama promotion or NWF is fine with me
El Boricua
Either the Alabama promotion or NWF is fine with me Agreed, this is probably the best solution for undrafted guys and for those that have been released. I'm assuming that wrestlers that have been undrafted or released would go into the draft pool for the next month?
Beast
Yes, but I don't know why anyone would suddenly decide they want Brannigan in October.
JerryvonKramer
Yeah, it would just be a place to keep them warmed up. I've put NWF there as a facility for anyone to stick a guy who has nothing to do or needs an extra date to stay in shape or whatever, rather than sit at home. I don't know what the Alabama promotion is, but I guess NWF could be there for the North and Canada and Alabama for Southern Guys. If you want to send someone from your own company to work NWF dates on Fridays, just put it in the thread and I'll make sure they get a match. El Boricua
I'll take Bull Brannigan (after looking it over I need another heel jobber type) and that'll be it for me. That leaves Mark Savage and Chief Thunder Cloud (if Parv confirms that he's still released after clearing up which ThunderCloud he was) available for the developmental feds. You could even even add his son Chuy to the mix.
JerryvonKramer
I'll keep Thundercloud if he's "only" 49. Put Monsoon and Graham's commentary down to a gaffe. It's not like them getting stuff wrong on commentary was unusual.
Beast
August draft is complete. Mark Savage will be eligible again in September.
