Grimmas
Really more than anything. Season 1 was so great and this year they are bringing in Rey Jr. I have way too high of expectations.
WingedEagle
Likely in the minority here but not looking forward to Rey's involvement. Part of what gave this its charm was that just about everyone felt fresh, literally like another universe.

WingedEagle
Chavo was one of the big misses last year.
Matt D
I watched episodes 15-18 today. I'll be caught up by the time season 2 ends.
joeg
Anybody else have verizon vios? El Rey seems to be burried very deep in my cable package and I'm having a hard time finding it.
tim
Season 2 debut was awesome. Continues to totally blow away all other television wrestling anywhere. The wrestling, angles and vignettes totally delivered. Thank God it's back.
El Dragon
That was about as good of an hour of wrestling as your are likely to see. the opener was great, the segments were awesome and compelling, they actually completely sold me on the finish in the main even though I knew there was 0 shot, and Shao Muertes is brilliant. MikeF
Fantastic premiere. Enjoyed every minute of it.
Tenese Sarwieh
Excellent premiere, It still amazes me how they present wrestling in a different way and make it work. That opener was amazingly fun. The main event had me sucked in and I’m not that high on intergender matches at all. This has me pumped for next week. shoe
I liked the show as well. I'm not an intergender guy at all, but man they did a great job with Ivelisse. It was a total Barry Windham vs Scorpio vibe to it.
tim
I was worried they were going to go way overboard like they did with some the Sexy Star stuff and give Ivelisse way too much offense but they pretty much did everything perfect. Dylan Waco
Legit loved the whole thing. Starting and ending the show with murders may be excessive, but I liked the carny vibe of the Cueto robbery of the marks. Both title matches were great for different reasons. Fenix v Cuerno because it was a well built spotfest, worked super stiff, which has a dramatic and surprising finish.....and the intergender main because of the brilliant set up for it, and strength of the overmatched plucky underdog character going against a literal cartoon monster. Not sure that works in any other setting, but in LU I was left mildly annoyed that I couldn't put it on an "official" MOTY ballot because of the tape date. It was that well done. Post-match angle with Pentagon was excellent as well. Even Striker only annoyed me twice. Great kickstart to the season
ScToTeE
Excited that Cuerno and Pentagon are going to be used in more interesting programs going forward. I do hope Fenix ends up facing Muertes though. They matched up so well in Season 1.
Grimmas
This was so great. Great wrestling, great skits with character development. The evil champion sitting above the ring in a throne. I can't wait to watch next week. Haven't felt this way in years about wrestling.

Maybe you saw a different version.

WingedEagle
Haven't watched yet but am looking forward to getting to it over the weekend. With taped shows I somehow don't mind waiting a bit to do without commercials. Definitely looking forward to some murders though. I suppose that's the price we pay for El Rey & co's backing. But at least they draw the line on sexual assault. Actually, would Catrina's gimmick cross that line? Or are we assuming her vics are simply overcome by her powers of persuasion and consenting? Coffey
Awesome show. Loved the first season and after seeing all of the first season, this first episode of the second season was great continuation. I legit marked out at the main event & post-match angle. So good. This show made me feel euphoric, which is a vibe I've not had from a wrestling show in quite some time. Good shit.
joeg
I'm going to be the asshole here. I have a problem with all the intergender matches. It bothers me when a guy sells for a woman. It bothers me that a woman got 2 seperate 2 counts in a main event against Mil Muertes, who they spent season 1 building to their version of the Undertaker. That all bothers me. The opening vinegettes were cool, and the post main event angle was awesome. But the main event and the 3 way were logic defying drizzling shits. And I wasn't wild about the opener either.... fakeplastictrees
Loved the show. I do agree about the main event, but not because it had a female wrestler. I think that Mil should not be eating any pins at this point. No near falls. No 1 1/2. Nothing. He should just be kicking ass until him and Puma step in the ring. Vampiro selling in silence was great and Strike not causing attention to it was also a nice touch as it got two angles over without beating us in the head like a certain other company would do. She caught him by surprise with MMA moves and flying stuff. He was a monster who was a little over confident and her only offense was surprise attacks. I generally hate inter-gender too, but this worked well and the crowd was great for it.
