sek69
Ronda nearly losing Ruby on the gutwrench, only to muscle her back up went from scary to an impressive show of strength.

sek69
It's been a MAJOR sore point in the city. Not only did the owner promise to keep them in town before leaving, the NBA has been using them as leverage for other teams to get better arena deals. Tenese Sarwieh
That segment was amazing, Elias was on fire and milked the crowd perfectly.
Strummer
Holy shit what incredible heat for Elias in that segment. Unbelievable. It was so much he almost broke. I can't rememember the last time a segment got so much (intended) heat. I think it had more than when Owens and Zayn beat down Bryan earlier this year
KawadaSmile
Roman's promo after beating Taker is the only comparable segment in recent memory. And yes, it was intended, too.
Strummer
I actually think it had more heat than that Roman segment. That segment was obviously more important but this was just visceral hatred tonight. oh man Shawn and Taker have to follow that in the main event segment. There last segment was great but god damn... ...TG
Bald Shawn Michaels is really quite something.
WingedEagle
I've got more hair than Shawn Michaels. The end is near.
Strummer
Thought that was an effective segment. Obviously setting up the tag match. Bald Shawn is pretty terrifying
coyote
Looking forward to bald Shawn growing his beard out and showing Ciampa how it's done.
NickH
Good to know Shawn's hair knows when to retire. Too bad it wasn't attached to his brain.
DMJ
I don't watch the show, so I didn't see it live - here's the link for anyone else who missed it: I thought people were exaggerating when they talked about this segment getting "nuclear heat," but, really, I'm not sure the WWE has intentionally (or even unintentionally) got a negative response that went this long and got this loud in years. I also gotta say, as tired as I am of Kevin Owens in the ring, I still think he can be money on the mic. (Bonus point for Renee Young's Detlef Shrempf reference!) And does it even matter since it was about sports and not anything to do with whatever they were presenting? I don't think the crowd bought the attempts to turn it towards Cena. They were still booing, but they weren't booing that.

Yes, I didn't make this clear enough in my reaction tweets last night - it's all about the Sonics, not really about Elias/Owens.
DMJ
Oh, I'd wholeheartedly agree that the crowd's booing was all about Elias' Sonics comment and nothing else. I just also, personally, liked Owens' lines/delivery about them being "great guys" (though I think that nonchalant dickish comments like that are better served by pre-taped, edited videos rather than in front of the live crowd). NintendoLogic
You all are of course aware that it was a rehash of The Rock's concert in Sacramento.
FMKK
Burying the local sports team for heat goes back far beyond The Rock in 2003 I'm sure
Jmare007
Not sure I understand the connection, but I see RAW did even worse than last week, which was historically bad.
WingedEagle
This is the rare week where Smackdown somehow feels even longer than Raw. Short of the Becky Lynch promo/angle in the main event slot hitting a home run this will be one of the most boring episodes in some time.
Strummer
Yeah agree there. Smackdown has been rolling lately but this episode is dragging. Worst SD in quite awhile

I guess because some would want to paint the segment as a proof that the promotion is red hot, when the heat had nothing to do with any character on the show, which itself bombed in the ratings. It's really amazing and ridiculous that they got so much money for a show that is at a really low point of its history it seems.
