Yep, though it's page 103 in my (UK) copy.

In the end, it was like smoking: cocaine became a habit. I can still remember the very first time I tried it. We were in a hotel right next to the airport in Miami, Florida; me, my brother-in-law Bret Hart, and the Junkyard Dog.

Junkyard said, "Hey man, try this." And he got a pipe and a block of coke and gave it to me. I had a smoke and straight away -- bump -- I was high. That was it: we spent all night smoking crack.

Stand corrected. :)

I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised about wrestlers in the 80s doing coke.

John

As a 27 year old adult who has read and heard plenty about the lifestyle during the '80's, not surprised at all.

As a nineteen year old, mostly mark, who read Pure Dynamite and read that Bret Hart, who'd always been heralded as the hero and role model, yes, it took me by surprise.

I guess by the time I was 19 (which was 1985), I'd had enough expericance around coke that very little of the 80s lifestyle surprised me. I was a pot & bear guy. But when from the age of 15 on you're around friends who snorted "recreationally" in some cases and were flat out addicted in other cases, so much for surprise. "Role models" was always a boondoggle to me. Pittsburgh trial in Baseball? I did bongloads with plenty of the respected role models in my school, and watched plenty of others do lines, including half our respected championship volleyball team.

I'm a little surprised that come the early 00's that folks in their late teens would be surprised by *anyone* having an alegation of drug use or banging pussy made against them. I would have thought that in their first 19 years they would have seen enough news stories of hero and role models not being perfect people when it comes to drugs, booze and pussy. :/

I don't know what to tell you, John, except that I evidently had a sheltered childhood.

That again proves that The Beautiful People is TNA's biggest draws.

I know it's become almost a running gag that they have been the biggest draw, but after seeing them in person the other day they really are some of the best heels in the company.

So my one friend I went to the TNA house show with was talking to Don West and JB about how someone would get a job in TNA in a creative/booking/writing sense. They told him he'd need to talk to Terry Taylor, and my friend gave them his email address. I thought they were just humoring him, but lo and behold, he got an email today from Taylor asking him to send a few of his ideas over and he'd look at them.

Also as a funny aside, he was talking to Jeff Jarrett and telling him how much he'd like to work for the company. Jeff asked "what do you do?" and he replied he'd even be a cameraman if that's what it took. Jeff took one look at him (my friend's about 6'5 mind you) and said "you're overqualified to work here".

A fan asked Eric Bischoff the following question on his Facebook page: Why aren't you commenting on your thoughts on this week's ratings. They weren't better but I think everyone would like to hear what you think. Bischoff replied with this: Markus...you need to get a life.

Sounds like Eric is reverting back to 'coked ou baby' Bischoff of the late 90s.

Jr Jackson's latest appearence on 57talk is typically off the wall. He has two contracts from National companies for a stuttering, shooting on smarks referee gimmick apparently. Ive my doubts personally.

As well as shooting on Wrestling Classics, Chris Cruise and Dave Meltzer.

So Terry Taylor actually responded positively to my friend's ideas and wanted to know more about him.

How weird that going to a random houseshow in Buttfuck, WV leads to discussing booking ideas with one of the people in charge of the company.

Cubeta annoys me more everytime I listen to one of his interviews. Quit trying to push your personal agendas on your guests.

He was interviewing Bill Apter and did the whole "THE SHEETS RUINED WRESTLING" deal, probably thinking Apter of all people would agree, and Bill was all, "Um, no. Not at all." It was pretty funny.

Cubeta lost any credibility he had with me when I realized his day job was one of those CASH 4 GOLD style scam sites.

Yeah, there is a post on Wrestling Classics which I found interesting at least on that recently. Basically stating that 57talk and associated sites are among the few websites which dont disclose their ownership via services such as whatis searches.

It was, I was heartened by Bill's level headed if begrudging at times answer.
