I don't know if this has been confirmed or not but apparently Lashley left the WWE because he felt certain higher ups in the company (along with the lockeroom in general) were racist or at least racially insensitive.

I would bet the potential Krystal/Edge storyline had something to do with that as the plan was to make several racial overtones in the angle.

I keep hearing that there were supposed to be some racial overtones in the Edge-Kristal thing, but nobody has ever explained exactly what they were gonna be. (And depending on how hard he's been hitting the tanning bed recently, Edge's skin might actually be the darker of the two.)

I wouldn't be surprised at all about Lashley or any black wrestler quitting over the old boys' club mentality. People in the wrestling bubble just never seem to realize how awesomely backwards their outlook on race issues is. See Lance Storm's recent column where he was all like "well maybe they said "nigger", but they didn't mean it". They've got a thousand excuses, but the basic fact is that wrestling as an American industry is still run entirely by whitey, and they're seemingly still uncomfortable with letting non-caucasians into the inner circle.

Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore used to work at a steakhouse around here called, "Texas Roadhouse." He also used to substitute teach at his old high school, Providence. In the most enjoyable of these stories (for me anyway) He also stole one of my best friends girlfriend a few years back. She's the blonde that can be seen on Badd Blood 2003 when, I believe, Randy Orton does some small angle with her and Eugene.

Guest Some Guy

I graduated from high school with Kofi Kingston. He's not Jamaican.

I too was shocked that they would lie. But I was more shocked that a kid I used to eat lunch with in high school and talk about WWF with is now in WWE. He was also tiny in school. He wrestled at 130.

Apparently you have never heard of Jimmy Rave.

Or, for that matter, Prince Nana.

I've hear of Jimmy Rave but never seen him and never heard of Prince Nana. I barely have time to watch wrestling anymore, hence why I'm seldom here.

HA Brock lost in a minute. So how long till he goes back to Vince?

He won't. Brock dominated the fight and got caught with a quick kneebar. It's not like Lesnar looked horrible out there.

If he improves his submission defense, he'll be awesome in MMA.

A minute and a half actually.

Did you watch the fight before taking a needless cheaphot at Brock? LOL, look at Brock. He's a looooser at what he does! Give me a break.

The guy impressed people.

Just some quotes here

But after one of the most exciting 90-second fights in UFC history, most of the talk after the match was about Lesnar’s potential to be one of the most dominant heavyweights in mixed martial arts history.

“I expected him to be strong, but I didn’t expect him to be as fast as he was,” said Mir. “One second he was on my right, then he was on my left. That second armbar I tried works 99 percent of the time in practice except against the most experienced guys.”

UFC officials were thrilled by the match and buzzing over Lesnar’s potential in the sport.

Come on Pegasus, you know the internet rule, Bash it before you see it.

I just watched it and it was pretty exciting. That standup was such crap.

You're a big man for admitting you leaped before looking. Others can learn from you.

Glad you enjoyed it.
