jdw
Here's four names that I would consider absolute no brainers: Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Kurt Angle, Dynamite Kid. My list would be full of people like that, so you can only imagine the shitstorm of a circular argument that would cause, no? We all know the dominant opinion of those guys here. And it's all rooted in style preference. That makes it easier to skim things...

Blazer
I didn't list those names to imply we should have to respect wrestler's opinions. In fact, I am usually in the "Take what wrestlers say with a grain of salt" camp. I listed them as people OUTSIDE this little community of ours. To add another group... in the 80s, Philly fans would take trips to Memphis because they loved the territory so much. Blue Meanie and Johnny Sorrow could give you the details to who was running those little trips but it was some guy who had a radio wrestling show back then. Loving Memphis wrestling isn't something exclusive to this community. I don't know how old W2BTD is or where he grew up with but age and region will affect your perception of what great wrestling is. Guest stanley
I'm a paper subscriber. I enjoy getting the WON on a weekend and lying down to read it. I prefer paper as well.
cheapshot
Even if you get the news a 3 or 4 days later? I'd just print it off using the template that's floating around instead.
Guest stanley
Such a timestamp would be very helpful. I do honestly like Bryan's audio shows; I think he's sort of a dimestore version of Kevin Smith, in that he can sit down with his friends and talk about practically anything and it's usually entertaining. But I listen to these shows in the first place for the wrestling coverage, and don't give much of a shit about all the time he wastes on various tangents. ' Granted I haven't seen the segment, but assuming Sting takes the key with him, my point still stands. Hell, I seem to spend five minutes every other day trying to find my key in order to leave the house. But how does it physically work that he could lock Eric inside? Unless it's one of those security doors which needs a key to open from either side, but most locked doors aren't built like that. In general, you need a key to get in from outside, but on the inside all you have to do is turn a latch. So Bischoff should've easily been able to let himself out, no matter what key Sting had. pretty lean times when your reduced to arguing about fucking doors

Minds_Eys
I also prefer a paper copy of the Observer, but I'm too frugal (cheap) to pay additional for something I'm already getting for $10 bucks a month. I would rather put the additional money towards the Network.
Guest stanley
The thing with the Smackdown 6 is as a worker, I think most people would agree he was behind Benoit, Eddy, Rey and Angle as a worker, but above Chavo. Fifth best worker out of six, in a legendary but short series of matches, isn't overly impressive.yeah nothing impressive about being in legendary matches. Guest stanley
Because Hennig was awesome in the AWA and looked like a superstar that was just on a different planet from everyone around him. Curt was good. Nobody else was. Edge wins.

W2BTD
I know something about message board trolls. You guys are engaging with one on Lawler here. Cut bait. If I wanted to "troll" this board re:Lawler, there is a 1,000 page Lawler thread in the microscope section where I could have a field day. The crux of my argument wasn't even anti Lawler, it was style bias/preference and the idea that Lawler was never considered a worker on the level of the guys in the poll, particularly among Dave and his readers. It then splintered into the definition of work/workrate and how it is applied by Meltzer. I was asked to make a list, and declined, on the premise it would come off as a troll and really derail things. I just about never agree with Dylan but have a ton of respect for him and his opinions, so when pressed by him I threw one together because there is a level of trust there. If I wanted to troll I would have come in guns blazing from the jump, instead of being prodded to put up names that I am fully aware run counter to the tastes on this site. The reason I come here is because almost nobody agrees with my tastes here. I like the alternative points of view. I put a lot of thought into my posts to avoid being labeled a troll. It's not my fault if you can't handle a my takes if they run counter to what you think. That's on you, not me.
Loss
Not everything is an arguement chief. Sorry. Well, I know you're new, but responding to posts so old just to throw out one line without any desire to go further in depth on it is going to be perceived as trolling. It would be appreciated if you'd stop.

Loss
If you have opinions, explain where you're coming from. "Yes it is" versus "No it isn't" left at that isn't very fun to read. It's not about the length of a post. It's about posting something that adds to the conversation.
